This experience was for sure a 5-star experience. First, the communication was prompt and awesome; she was able to find a time to accommodate both my mom and me. Second, The environment was really clean and peaceful. Also, It was the first massage place I’ve been to where I felt truly comfortable. I arrived and was greeted at the door, upon entering the building it smelled good and both the receptionist and massage therapist were extremely friendly. I filled out quick paperwork detailing my concern areas and had a brief talk about the areas that were bothering my on my body. She did a wonderful job! A very strong massage on a heated table in a very relaxing room. By the end of it I felt virtually no pain. i suffer from arthritis, herniated discs in my back as well as other medical conditions which affect my joints and this massage proved very beneficial for me. I wanted to treat myself to a massage for my birthday and experienced acupressure for the first time at Spa Luxor with Veronica. To say she is amazing, is an understatement. In 60 minutes she was able to alleviate pain I’ve been dealing with for years, especially with my TMJ. I found this spa via a groupon and decided to give it a shot based on the good reviews. I opted to not get the groupon and just contact the business directly. Veronica is very friendly and accommodating. She was able to get me in for the date I wanted. This was to be a little treat to myself for my birthday. The place was not hard to find using my GPS and there was parking right up front. Upon my arrival Veronica greeted me at the door, I filled out some paper work, was offered water and then brought into the massage room. The office itself is spacious and looks very clean and organized. Once in the massage room I instantly knew this was going to be good. It was dark, there was aroma therapy going, and the whole ambience was set for relaxation. You can tell Veronica spent time on the little details that matter when trying to set a relaxing environment. I was getting a Swedish massage which is basically just a relaxation massage and a collagen facial! The massage was great and helped me relax, after this she had me flip over and the facial began. She applied a mask and some additional cushions which made my head feel very comfortable. Once the collagen mask was on she used a small device which pulsated the skin on my face- this was to help the collagen really rub in! It was super relaxing and felt amazing. She also wrapped my feet in warm towels during this process. I was in heaven!It is clear this is a small business and Veronica is essentially a 1 woman show- with the exception of her receptionist- but I loved it and highly recommend it. Listen I was a member at Hand & Stone and at Massage Envy- both I walked away from and have no plans of returning to. They turn over their therapist at a high rate and I think they burn them out. I got the attention I expect from Veronica, and I felt good about supporting a local business. On my way out I even bought a massage gift card for honey to return! Absolute amazing results !!!!Before I met Veronica, I was about to get stem cell injections in my shoulder.Veronica was giving free chair massages at Crunch fitness and I figured I’d consult with her about my shoulder pain. Absolutely loved my experience. If you have any kind of pain or stress in your life come in and get a session. I’ve suffered with chronic migraines for years and pain in my back and neck. Veronica is incredibly talented and clearly has a passion for this work. I have had quite a few massages, some by even more experienced folks when I lived in NY and CA, and this was the best. She was very kind in making me feel comfortable and learning my needs, and she checked in throughout the process (without being too chatty). Wow , amazing massage. Serene ambiance, well padded and heated massage table, and then personable Veronica massages you to a relaxed haven with strokes of finesse. I got the hot stones massage, whichwas my first and definitely wont be my last.
Cant wait to try some of her exotic eastern style massages like Thai and cupping.
She also has wonderful discount specials and packages. I travel alot, so im so glad to find my zen in my own backyard.
