Took a party of 8 to the Spa at the Waterway. Working with management (Linda) was wonderful as I set up this special day. Because we were a big group, Linda had to call in extra staff to accommodate all of us and our timing . But she did it and we were all whisked away at the same time for our relaxing treatments. While they serve complimentary beverages, we were allowed to bring in our own and they kept them in a special spot just for us. Afterwards, we rested in our soft robes in the lounge area and just had a several moments to talk and rest before we had to dress and head home. A wonderful way to celebrate! More...

The staff went above and beyond to make our spa experience a great one! From the start we were welcomed and felt comfortable and offered champagne. The entire afternoon was fun and we were completely pampered. We had facials, massage, manicure and pedicure. I highly recommend! More...

Very expensive and over priced for a clean up for a man ! I mean service and everything was excellent and everything, but charging 3 for 5 min clean up is unacceptable and unnecessary! Definitely going to a place that don't charge double ! More...

So, I got a gift certificate for a 50 minute Swedish massage to this spa and what a wonderful gift that was! I enjoyed every minute of my experience at this spa. The place is lovely. It's located inside the Marriott on The Waterway. They have either valet parking or self parking in the garage but either way the parking is validated. I parked in the garage & it was a quick walk in to the Marriott & the spa was right there, on the 1st floor. The lighting is dim, the music is soothing & the smells are relaxing, as it should be. The front desk staff was so kind & polite. She right away offered me something to drink. They have wine, champagne, mimosas.... I had a delicious mimosa. It was my first time there so I filled out a quick form regarding my health history & my areas of concern for my massage. Then I was shown to the locker/bathroom area. They had plush robes & comfortable sandals to wear, lockers to place all my belongings in, showers to use after my massage, a vanity area to fix my hair & make up afterwards, a dressing/changing area, nice big restroom stalls & a sauna. After I changed in to my robe & sandals I was shown the relaxation area where I waited for my massage therapist, Candace. The relaxation area was like a big, comfy living room but with dim lighting, relaxing music/sounds & soothing scents. They had a self serve complimentary refreshment area too but I chose to keep on sipping my mimosa instead. Did I mention my mimosa was free & delicious? Well, it was. I didn't wait long at all in the relaxation room before Candace came & got me for my massage. She was very courteous & professional. The massage room was also nice. The massage table was warmed & had soft linens. I especially liked that the face pillow had a satin like cover on it so my face didn't get those lines that I tend to get at other massage places that use other covers on the face pillow. Candace asked me what areas I'd like to focus on & what kind of pressure I was comfortable with. I prefer light to medium pressure because it is still relaxing for me but can still work out any soreness I have in my neck & back areas.  Candace did not disappoint. She did an excellent job. My massage was definitely relaxing & got rid of my body aches. After my massage, I had full use of the spa amenities such as the relaxation room & sauna. Candace even offered me another mimosa. I could have made a whole day of this place but unfortunately I had something else I had to do that day. Anyway, I know this place is a little pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. You can also sign up for their monthly specials & follow them on Facebook. Keep an eye out for their 25% off any spa services. What a great deal & a great way to try this place! More...

I am so glad that I have found Ashley Jensen.  I have been to several high end salons and have never loved a place or person enough to want to stay long term until now.  I trust Ashley completely with my hair and I always love my hair when Ashley cuts it.  Ashley is a great listener and communicator.  She listens to what I want and then she gives me advice on how to make adjustments to make the cut work for me.  Ashley is very patient and attentive to details. She takes the time to explain to me how to style and care for my new cut as well as explain what products would work best for my hair.  I always leave the salon very happy with my cut and her cuts grow out beautifully.  Ashley has a great eye for details and is very talented.  I feel very confident trying new things with my hair because I know my hair is in good hands with Ashley. Everyone at the salon is very pleasant and the entire experience is wonderful. More...

If you are looking for someone who genuinely cars about you and about doing a good job instead of the nail salons that just get you in and out as fast as they can, then you need to go see Andrea Walker, nail tech, at the spa! !! She always takes such good care of me when I come in to get my nails done. My nails don't always cooperate, but she is so patient with me. She is always educating herself on other options and the latest trend in nails. She has also become a good friend of mine over the last several months. I absolutely love Andrea! Go see her! More...

Great location and was surprised to find great service within a hotel, despite previous experiences. First time for a facial, glad I did some reading about services, locations, etc before choosing a place. Carmen was fantastic, knowledgeable and laid back, atypical from what one sometimes finds in a luxury salon. The line she uses is Hydropeptide, really loved it and I could feel what my skin has been missing. She took her time explaining products when I asked questions, and I appreciate that. I purchased the signature hydropeptide signature facial at $115, thought it might be a bit of a splurge until I realized the time, technique and products I was exposed to. Totally worth it. If you're looking for a facial and never had one, I highly recommend Carmen at this spa, everyone was cheerful and friendly. Very clean and cozy place. More...

I have been going to the Spa at the Waterway for seven years now. I have only had two different estheticians in that time. It's nice that they don't have a high turnover rate like many spas do.  My current esthetician is Cindy and she is fabulous! I get the Signature Facial every time and she tailors it to my skin. It includes a cleanser, facial scrub, two different masks, and a face and neck massage. She has a wonderful touch and I have had appointments where we chat most of the time and other appointments where I just want some down time and it's just quiet pampering. She knows how to read her clients and their individual needs. The spa has a lounge with teas, infused water and wine. The lady's locker room has a steam room, two showers, two curtained changing areas and a vanity with all the necessities incase you need to make yourself a bit more presentable before heading out.I highly recommend Spa at the Waterway and make sure to ask for Cindy! I could not be happier with the services received at Shag on the waterway.  My stylist, Chelsea, performed a hair miracle in just 3 hours.  Like so many others I was a bronzed, yellow, copper highlighted disaster.  I walked in on a Saturday not even believing I had a chance in hell that with a new stylist I would achieve results like this.  After a consultation with Chelsea about my hair history and pictures of my desired results she let me know right away that my 2 hour apt would not be enough time, so she called her next apt and asked them to come in an hour later in order to have enough time to truly focus on the work at hand, how great to not feel rushed.Chelsea was great, conversational, knowledgable and someone you can trust your luscious locks with.  The Spa was quiet and relaxing with a huge picture window of the waterway.  Everyone was very friendly and the mimosas were a nice touch.  If you are looking for a knowledgable stylist with amazing skills, look no further. They did a lovely job -- I will be back. Full highlights and a trim cost $195 before tip. The highlights look great. It was VERY quiet on a Sunday, but hey they are one of the few places open on Sundays. It's very clean and calm. They give you water when you sit down. The person who cuts/colors your hair also does your wash. Overall very good. More...

I currently work here, but the reason I do is because I first began as a client and I was so impressed that I wanted to work with this amazing team and the moment a spot opened up I applied and it was the best professional decision I have ever made.  I have always loved going to the spa but Spa At The Waterway is the first to impress me so much I wanted to work there.  First, there are the facilities.   This is a gorgeous space.  Great care has been put into the design and comfort of the clients.  The ladies lounge and changing areas are beautifully appointed and each guest is offered a choice of complimentary wine and champagne or infused and plain water.  There is a self service coffee bar as well.  On weekends you will often find a plate of cookies or biscotti for guests to enjoy.  You will be given a comfortable robe and slippers to wear while you relax.   The dressing room always has fresh towels and complimentsry toiletries.   There is a dry sauna and two large showers.  The nail department is currently undergoing renovations and brand new, state of the art massaging pedicure chairs ensure that you will be comfortable while you sip your champagne and enjoy a magnificent view of the waterway.   I recommend the waterway deluxe pedicure if you go.  Next, there is the staff.  In 25 years of working in hospitality I have never encountered a group quite like this.  I look forward to going to work everyday thanks to the incredible kindness, compassion and dedication to the comfort of our clients.    This passionate dedication to customer service infuses everything we do and the attention to even the smallest details ensures our clients leave happy and relaxed.  When you visit Spa at the Waterway you will be welcomed graciously and pampered endlessly by people who truly value your time and want you to feel comfortable.   Finally, there are the services.  We offer endermology, a full range of massage treatments, we have packages for couples, cutting edge peptide skin care, and my favorite treatment: a microcurrent face lift that uses gentle electric current to instantly tighten and lift the face.  This treatment is accompanied by a gentle peel to exfoliate the skin after which nourishing peptides will be applied and infused for greater efficacy.   My skin has truly never looked better.   I look significantly younger than my 45 years.   We also offer microderm abrasion and our latest addition, Thermiva, a painless radio frequency vaginal rejuvenation performed by a medical doctor in a comfortable setting.  I have worked with Spa At the Waterway for about a year and a half and I am more in love now than I was as a client.  Recieving regular treatments has improved my overall wellness.   My stress levels are low, my physical health has never been better, and I am convinced without a doubt that this is in large part due to my time with this incredible company.   For me, time at the spa is less about luxury and more about taking time for myself to relax and recharge.   The health benefits of regular spa treatments are well documented and I am personally experiencing the benefits and seeing those benefits in our clients.   I would like to invite you to come by for a tour and see for yourself what we have to offer.   We can also host your event and thanks to the many great restaurants located near by we can arrange for catering as well.  My name is Dana and I am happy to answer any quetions.   Thank you for your time and I hope to meet you soon! Victoria Benham colored my hair for 2 years and my hair has never looked better or healthier! She is the only colorist who has given me the saturated blonde color that I have always wanted and never received at other fancy salons. She is amazing!!! I recommend her to anyone who is looking for gorgous color! If I could I would give her a 10 star rating instead of 5. Thank you Victoria!!!! More...

My stylist moved to The Spa and I wasn't really sure what exactly to expect as I agree with the first reviewer, it appears "hoity toity. " But I was actually pleasantly surprised. It's big, airy, everyone is polite and not snobby at all. It offers a little bit of everything, granted I can't afford to participate in everything they have but I like it enough so far. The coffee thingy with all the selections of coffee is fabulous! The other place I went was very...grandparent oriented but not here, it's more up to date and client oriented than, "How blue do you want your hair, deary?" More...

To be honest I wasn't expecting to be impressed with a spa within a hotel. That sounds hoity toity, sure, but I guess I feel like great spas are supposed to be they're own entity, free standing, a chain. ..Well, if you share my previous thoughts then go ahead and toss 'em out the window. I did :)I really like this spa - mostly for the services, the staff is very good at what they do. I've never disliked a massage I've received and I make a point to go every 2-3 months for a facial. I like how they really get in there! :pOther than service, the ambiance is nice, location is friggin' ideal (heart of The Woodlands) and the place is clean, a touch of luxury, very comfortable, and calming. They also have a salon (I've never tried those services before) and a little store featuring products they use. My favorite part is the coffee machine that has a multitude of sweet treat options :) I always get a cup as I'm leaving - so it's like a pamper topped off with dessert! More...
