Southside Flower Market provided florals for our September 2022 wedding at Downtown Market and they were wonderful to work with! From the planning process, working within my budget and providing suggestions, and the finished project, I am so happy we chose them. As some who does not live locally, they were flexible with communication and made sure they completely understood what I wanted to bring my vision to life. They even accommodated a special request I had to incorporate my grandmother's bridal gown sleeve into the wrapping of the bridal bouquet. On the day of, the staff was on their game with helping set up the ceremony and reception space and worked very quickly. If I could rate a zero for how awful our experience with Southside Floral was I totally would. The planning process was a nightmare. We went through three different wedding coordinators leading up to the event. They all kept quitting. A week before the wedding when we went to drop off our table centerpieces we witnessed an older male employee berating and talking down to one of their younger female employees. At one point even putting his hands on her shoulders to get his point across. While there we were told by Missie how they would arrange the string lights in our centerpieces. However when we got to the venue on our wedding day none of the centerpieces were complete. After speaking with her she was rather rude and said putting the string lights in was not in the contract so they were not going to do it. She’s very two faced and was just incredibly rude the entire morning. The bouquet, the boutonnières, and the corsages were literally the only correct flower arrangements. Everything else was completely wrong from what was discussed. We never received any form of apology other than, a snarky “I have the contract right here.” When quite clearly she was in the wrong. This place is a gem! I ordered flowers for my daughter's birthday from them because I was so impressed with the options on their website. Nice range of beautiful arrangements at reasonable prices, definitely not the usual generic options. Called the order in, the person taking the order could not have been more pleasant. Delivery was scheduled for between 1 and 4pm and it had not arrived at 4pm. I called in a panic to check on the delivery, and again, person answering (may have been the same person who took the order) was so nice and helpful, explaining that they were running a bit late because they had a large amount of orders that day (yay for them). She then took the extra step to say she would call the delivery person and find out where he was on his route. The flowers showed up the minute I hung up with her, they were really pretty and my daughter was so happy. This was a great experience from start to finish. Highly recommend and will use again. Called Southside Flower Market and Missy took my call.  She was very helpful!  During COVID, some florists aren't willing to deliver to hospitals.  Missy was very kind and took my order for a sunny bouquet to be delivered same day!  Easy to work with and after all the pics on their website, sure I won't be disappointed!  Thanks Southside!  Made working with you easy and professional and all the way from Wyoming!  Glad I found you! Southside Flower Market is women owned and just celebrated their 1 year anniversary in December! ⁣⁣They offer flowers by the stem so can create your own bouquet and they offer lovely premade arrangements!
