We stayed in September of 2021, they tried to charge us for parking and we didn’t have a car. They credited that finally. Now 3 months later we have a $1969 charge on our card from them . This was charged and paid for in September! I am disputing it but they claim we owe. We do not I have proof it was never credited back. Beware to anyone who stays there! Horrible service, they don't return calls. Reservations lied about the room booked, and the manager was abussive. I would never stay here, they don't care about honoring room reservations.

Currently staying here for a wedding. The views and amenities they offer are great… but the rooms and service are another story. We checked in to find out room at 76° with the AC obviously not working. They were fast to fix it that day…. But they chose to install a used AC as a replacement…. The next night we came back to the room to see the AC unit went into heating mode .. making a smoke and electrical smell throughout the room enough to set the fire alarm off…. Now they wanted to place a new AC in…. And they did say it would be a short task but again… we are now on day two with the wedding the next day and we are not waiting for yet another AC to be installed 10pm the night before a wedding…. We also had opted for the bottle of wine to be waiting for us at our room upon check in… 3 days later we still have no wine and they stated the wine wouldn’t be here till Monday…. And guess who leaves Monday …. We do. The resort itself is a great location and convenient… I’d personally reconsider and would not book again More...

We got married here on November 4th and it was clear it was an extremely busy week, but all of the staff were so nice and helpful when needed. Southernmost Beach Resort Is not responsive... where is the compassion in people and businesses? As a result of airlines cancelling their flight due to walkouts of air contol and availability of personnel. This resort decided they would not honor to rebook at original pricing in 30 days. Why wouldn't they want to help me get my trip rescheduled at the rates I originally booked? This is not an all inclusive resort - so my husband and I would be paying for meals, drinks, spa treatments, etc. which is added income for the resort. If this is how they treat those that stay at their resort what does this say about the resort and the owners? Do they treat all their visitors this way? I was told this resort was amazing, the people were awesome, and as my husband and I love to go away we were told this would become a destination we would want to visit again and again... ummmmm. very sad! Underwhelmed. We have one more day here for them to change our minds but right now I’d say you’d be better spending your money elsewhere. When we checked in and were assigned a room, no one told us it was a 2 block walk with our luggage, nor we offered a golf cart ride (which we’ve now seen aplenty). Requested an extra pillow 3 times now with no luck. No explanation of nightly events or options. Dead/smelly ice machine. Weren’t told of the significant construction happening during our stay. We’ve stayed at many resorts on key west and I’d always hoped to stay here. But I’m overall disappointed & would suggest anyone new to this area go next door. More...

We booked 6 months in advance. Started reading the reviews a week before and got nervous but we were traveling with 4 other couples and couldn’t rebook that close to time, so decided to take our chances and boy am I glad that we did! We all had a great experience- no complaints! From the front desk staff to Gil at the bar, the service was fantastic! And the food at the Cafe was delicious! We had a small snafu with water going out in our building, but they promptly addressed the issue and made it right. Highly recommend! We can’t wait to go back! More...

We booked our 10 year anniversary trip over 6 months ago through a travel agency. We upgraded our room to be ocean front and special for this trip. Even a week out, they verified our reservation with our agent and we were completely paid. We arrived and they said they cancelled our reservation bc that room is being renovated. The bars were closed and a large part of the hotel was under renovation and no mention of this to us! The manager Rachel was terrible and said there was nothing she could do. She admitted that she cancelled our reservation THE NIGHT BEFORE WE ARRIVED by email to Delta vacations which they never got an email and neither did we. She offered no help at all to make it right and my travel agent had to get us a room at a different hotel. THEY DID NOTHING TO MAKE THIS RIGHT! Do not book here!!! More...

Horrible. Not a luxurious resort by any means. It is no better than a motel and way overpriced for basic motel-like accommodations. - Woke up to construction noise every morning. Could not even enjoy peace on the balcony. - Beach full of seaweed and smells. Could not enjoy this so-called amenity. - Beach chairs and property unkept. - Construction debris and materials everywhere. - No cleaning service. Ran out of towels, tissues, and toilet paper. Had to request. Asked for service but it was declined because I did not give 24 hour notice. - Room basic and didn’t feel clean. Mold in shower stall. - No parking. Lots full and partially taken up by construction vehicles. Had to park on the street and had to pay ourselves. - no safe in the room. Had to request one. - balcony dirty with window screens fallen out. - staff not friendly and never said hi. They even did not move out of way for guests to pass through like they had the right of way over paying guests. - no button on the elevator to call. The only bright spot about this hotel is Jules, the concierge. The room are just ok, but for $700+ per night, so not worth it. Nothing exceptional for the price. The staff isn’t overly helpful or friendly but seemed attentive enough when needed. The beach is HORRIBLE - stinky seaweed! Could not spend anytime on it. And the website says that “South Beach is groomed daily.” What does that mean? Why doesn’t management/staff keep that cleaned up and put a barrier like the other 4 star hotels. Or better yet give a little warning to future travelers. So disappointed we couldn’t enjoy the beach, it was the main reason we booked this hotel. More...

It was ok. That’s all I can say. Our room was $908 per night with a $45 per night room charge for amenities. I cleaned my room and we had to take towels from the pool area because I did call and asked for towels to be sent to our 2 rooms and they never came. We stayed here last night. Paid almost $700 for the deluxe king suite. It was nothing like the description. Our mattress sagged in the middle, should have been replaced 2 years ago. The AC never brought the temperature down in the room below 80 degrees. Could not turn ceiling fan on high because it was shaking so bad that we thought it would come off the ceiling. At check out, they added another $52 charge for amenity fees. Needless to say, I was irate and at that point had nothing nice to say.
