Build quality unlike any other builder in the Tampa Bay Market. They go beyond with individual lot soil testing, to ensuring that the home is built with quality and it's standards for ensuring that your home is built beyond standards. When you buy a new home it is important that you look at what is "behind the curtain". Anyone can make a house look like it's worth a million dollars on the outside, but that is just makeup! Ask the questions and understand what is "behind the walls" and how they determine the structure for the foundation. As you will find out if you haven't already, if you build a beautiful looking home but the foundation is flawed you are not going to have a beautiful home for long. Like everything else you get what you pay for. Go to Homes by Southern Image first and allow them to tell you what they do and then go talk to some other home builders and ask them the questions that Homes by Southern Image reviewed with you and see how they answer them. My husband and I moved to Florida from Dallas, Texas and bought this amazing home when it was about 80% complete. Alex added many upgrades and almost built the home for himself to live in! He paid attention to many features which we did not even know about since we moved here from out of state, so we have been able to enjoy knowing that this home was built to last! I couldn't be happier with the end product I received from Southern Image. My husband and I interviewed 4 custom builders in the area, and Southern Image was pragmatic, realistic, experienced, and very, very straight forward. Alex the owner is a extremely direct individual and will lay it out for you. We are a busy family and building a home can be a very hard process, but we wanted what we wanted; and Southern Image was able to exceed expectations. If you are looking for a builder that will just tell you everything you want to hear, then this is not the right builder for you. My in-laws came across an ad in the newspaper for a new home for sale and under construction in Palm Harbor. They called and made an appointment to meet with Alex the Owner of the company on a Saturday morning. We needed the assistance as we were relocating from Texas and were not in town to look at new homes and/or meet with any new home builders. After the meeting directly with the OWNER of the company, the reports from them about the meeting were very positive. We then contacted Alex directly on his cell phone, flew in from Texas, and met him at the home under construction. We loved the home, and it was almost completed, but we needed to add an additional full bathroom and convert an area to a study for our family; plus we needed it all to be done in 45 days. I do not think most builders would have been this accommodating to our needs, nor been able to get it done, but they did. We have been in our new home now for almost 4 months, and we couldn't be happier with the fit and finish, floor plan, and everything else you would expect in a new custom home. 5 stars, a job well done ! I had the pleasure of contracting with Southern Image Homes, LLC to build our "Empty Nest" home. Having raised 2 children who are now in college, it was difficult letting go of the home our children and family grew in. Now having completed the building process and moved into our new home, we are happy to start our new set of memories. We only needed a Master Bedroom and an office/guest bedroom, but after meeting with Alex, he convinced us that adding that additional spare bedroom and guest bath was worth the investment. Working with Al, Tom and Sandy at Southern Image Homes was wonderful! You always hear horror stioties when building a home, but our experience was just about as perfect as you can get.
From the very first meeting to our final walk through, true professionalism was their priority.
Not only was our timeline followed, but the constant communication and updates kept us in the loop and aware of everything that was going on each step of the way.
The icing on the cake...the masterpiece they built for us. Our custom home turned out better that I could have hoped for. Their attention to detail was a great fit for our high standards.
