Food was amazing!!! I ordered the Mac & cheese, greens, and ribs for a small gathering at my house. The online ordering process was easy, and if you have any questions the staff responds quickly. I have to admit that I was hesitant about ordering the frozen packaged meals because I thought the food when reheated would lose its flavor and appeal, but let me tell you that I was wrong. The items are very well packaged and the food tastes great when reheated...like it was made that day in my kitchen :) My friends and family had nothing but good things to say about the food, so I will be definitely use this place again. Chef D made an amazing menu for our event. The Smoked Salmon was smacking, beef roast unforgettable, mashed potatoes popping, dessert was delicious. So I'm going to be completely honest. This was my first time trying this place and I wanted to support a local black owned business . I usually cook thanksgiving dinner but thanksgiving 2020 I was 9 months pregnant and I wanted to give the reigns to someone else. And based off great reviews I gave this place a try. I ordered the thanksgiving dinner online which was smoked Turkey , Mac n cheese, yams, greens , dressing , gravy and pound cake. They gave a nice personalized card thanking me for supporting the business and of course reheating instructions. Now as far as the taste of the food this is my opinion and everyone taste buds are different .the smoked turkey was tender but it didn't really go with everything else I got I wish they offered a regular Turkey but it was ok, the greens were ok, yams could have been a little softer sweeter, Mac n cheese was ok a little bit too runny I like mine a little stiffer but it could have been because it was frozen idk the best parts were the dressing and the pound cake ooh they were sooo good. Nothing tasted particularly bad it was just ok. And the portions are nice size which is nice . Also I had a delivery window from 1p-3pm which was confirmed but they didn't arrive until almost 5p and the driver only reached out after I texted the owner at 330p asking where they were at. I had something to do that day that had to be canceled because they arrived late I understand things happen but they could of at least let me know ahead of time if they would be Past 3p. I may try this place again to give it another chance we'll see. More...

Amazing Thanksgiving Dinner!!! My mother, Valerie, purchased our Thanksgiving meal from Southern Creations this year and we were more than satisfied with all of the food. The heating instructions were clear, which made sure everything turned out perfectly. The food was seasoned to perfection, smoked turkey was so moist!! We topped off our dinner with the peach cobbler, and that too exceeded our expectations... tasted just like home! Chef D and team went out of their way to provide stellar customer service. I cooked my food yesterday..Mac n cheese, greens, dressing, baked bean, yams,  and peach cobbler.  Everything came out perfect.  My family said as we were eating Thanksgiving dinner that the food was delicious repeatedly. Nothing but compliments to the Chef.   You can definitely taste the south in these dishes.  Everything was seasoned right. The dressing had the right amount of sage, the yams were the perfect tenderness, the greens were tender and had shreds of meat not huge hunks and seasoned perfectly , baked beans were flavorful, and the peach cobbler was soo good.  The peach cobbler was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!!!! This company is amazing!  They are passionate about their business and strive to serve their customers and give A-1 service.  My order was delivered today and although there was a hiccup, the owner was professional, polite and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy!  I will definitely order again and tell everyone to order here.  You can smell how delicious the food will be when it is frozen so I'm looking forward to eating it.  If I could give them a million stars I would!  Thank you Chef, Dee, and the delivery driver who made the delivery!  I will now be able to have a stress free Thanksgiving!! I wanted to thank Donell for such an amazing experience. I had him cater my dads celebration of life. We ordered 3 types of meat and 3 types of side and let's not forget the Corn Cakes, yum! We talk the night before to finalize the meal and time of delivery and pick up. Donell and his staff came on time and set up. Food was so flavorful. The Brisket melted in your mouth and the ribs and chicken was moist. I'm not a white meat eater but the breast of chicken were tender and juicy. We got the creamy mash potatoes, Mac and cheese and you have to have the collard greens all delish!! We order for 50 people but truly fed over 50 since everyone ate twice. EDIT: Thanks for the quick reply! Please do NOT feel the need to do anything!! I got two voicemails and will call back after my work meetings but please don't do anything! !My family ordered from their ala-carte menu and got the following: BBQ Pork Ribs; Tri Tip; Mashed Potatoes; Mac N Cheese; and 2x Corn Cake. We got 1 Corn Cake free with our order and 10% off for being first time customers! I have to be honest and say I wasn't fully prepared for what I was ordering, I knew I had to heat it up, but I wasn't familiar with the specific instructions. Just for you to be aware, and plan ahead with, our meals came frozen and we baked it at 375F for about 2 hours. We baked it frozen, so we didn't defrost it, which is why I think it may have taken longer than their instructions said. FYI the instructions didn't say if we should defrost the meal or not either. I would defrost if I were you because our mac and cheese ended up watery :( The instructions said to bake between 350-400F and to not go over 400F. Timing would be 50-60 minutes. As mentioned above, because we cooked from frozen, things took way longer and the overall texture of some dishes didn't hold up well. The sides took longer than the meat to heat up. I don't believe they have an option to drop off hot food, at least not at my scale (IDK about large events). The main highlight is how kind the owner is! Donell was the person who dropped off my delivery and they answered the phone to help me with my questions. The packaging of the food was beautiful as well. Big points for this. I have a few suggestions that might be helpful, but honestly these are just personal preferences. It would be awesome if you could include cooking instructions on your website under the 'How It Works' section. Also, on Yelp, there's a coupon that says "20% off for first time customers" but upon check out only 10% was applied. I appreciate 10% or 20%, but I do suggest to fix what it says on Yelp to avoid confusion!Also, this may just be because we had 5 adults eating, but we didn't think the meat entrees were big enough for all of us. On their website they suggest their meals for 4-6 people, but I think 4 people was a more appropriate estimation in our experience. We felt that the side dishes were great portions though! Lastly, for the tri tip, I wish (because it came frozen) that it was a whole piece rather than coming pre-sliced, so I could control the cook of the meat more. I found our ribs to be a little tough, so maybe I suggest the rib tips instead. Overall, I was happy to support a local business, with such a kind owner to boot.
