I work as a virtual personal assistant and contacted Southern California Grill Cleaning and Repair when my boss needed someone to clean her grill. I'm essentially the middle man, so there is a lot more back and forth between me and the vendor. Fortunately for me, Bob was great. He responded to all of my many questions and texts and was a true professional. I got a quote after sending a few pictures of the grill and set up an appointment online. Today, David Ono from Southern California Grill Cleaning and Repair came as scheduled to do a deep cleaning on our Lynx Sedona Outdoor Kitchen BBQ grill. This is a very business-like company, from my first call when I spoke to Bob, to the clean up done by the servicemen of the bbq area after they finished work. What a relief to have a good-as-new, clean bbq again! Food will certainly both look and taste better. I used to do this myself but cannot now, so I appreciate the work they did. Didn't have much interaction, since no one called me back after repeated calls and emails.Initially called, spoke to a Kain on the phone about my grill. Â Was told to email pictures and info and they would get back to me. Â Did just that. Waited... never heard back. Â Emailed again. Â Called again. Â It's been almost 2 months without any sort of response, so I gave up. Â Not really a good way to pickup new customers. We have a high-quality Lynx BBQ which is 16 years old and had a number of years of service with no cleaning whatsoever. Â It was caked with many burned-on layers and required a deep cleaning. Â I "found" So. Cal Grill from a Google search and took a chance they were the right people. Â Their service technician arrived exactly at the appointed time in the morning and spent most of the day working on the BBQ. Â He was conscientious, meticulous and closely-focused upon what he was doing. Â By the time he was finished, it looked almost-new again. Â We were surprised by how good it looked and by how much time he spent. Â We were so pleased we gave him $40 for himself. Â He didn't expect this and it was entirely our idea. Â I'm mentioning the $40 solely to emphasize how pleased we are. Bob came out and helped with the conversion for my new BBQ island . I was getting low flame converting from propane to natural gas, and I was very frustrated being it brand new. . We recently used Southern California Grill Cleaning and Repair to perform some repairs and a deep cleaning on our 4-year-old Weber grill. Everything about the experience went smoothly. The office was very prompt in responding to my initial inquiries and getting me a quote for the service. The technician (Randy) arrived at precisely the scheduled time and worked diligently for several hours to perform the requested work. My grill is back to fully functional and looks like new! First time using this kind of service. Â I was very impressed at the professionalism of this company. Â Bob was great to work with, and told me at the outset what to expect. Â There was no pressure, no attempt to upsell at any time. Â I was notified in advance of the need to reschedule my appointment (for good reason) and was reminded by text and email when necessary. Â The technician, Orson, was prompt (actually 5 minutes early), friendly, professional, and thorough. Â He took great care to cover the work area (driveway) with plastic sheeting, and cleaned up so thoroughly you didn't even know he had been working on a very greasy grill! Â Our 10-year-old gas grill looks and works great again, it just needed a thorough cleaning...no parts were necessary. Â If it sounds like a lot of money at the outset, just think about how great it is to not have to deal with the grease and grime yourself.
