South Street Business Center

This was my first time using the services here at South Street Business Center, specifically IdentoGo. I chose this location due to the hours of operation. They're open until 7pm during the week. I needed fingerprinting for an upcoming Travel Nurse assignment. I made an appointment online and brought all required items with me.I was little late due to traffic but was still allowed to make use of my appointment time. This location is used for other services such as key making, mailing and shipping services. The employees were friendly not only to me but also my son (which is a plus in my book). This is such a hidden gem on South Street. I've come to the store twice for fingerprint card and USPS shipping services. Both times, the employees managed the line very efficiently. The first time, I was in and out in literally 5 minutes with my fingerprint card. The second time, there were about 3 employees servicing 8 customers, but I still managed to be done in 10-15 minutes. I was here for fingerprints, the staff was great a d they got me in and out. Beware there is a constant flow of traffic in the store and the line is very long to get fingerprints and photos but the the staff had it organized and kept the line moving and quickly. Thank you.

Time and time again I have gone to this establishment to mail a package, get a key copied, get a passport photo, have my fingerprints done, make copies, get something notarized. .. Not only are these services all readily available, but the staff has also been consistently so kind over the years that I feel welcomed every single time. No more trying to get to the post office when they close shortly after business hours. Also not having to deal with grumpy postal employees and long line. Oh and did I mention no more slips on the door saying I miss my packages because they're all accepted by Joe and his helpful &  friendly staff. There is nothing fun about moving, but the South Street Business Center made the whole shipping process really easy. You can ship FedEX, UPS, USPS, and DHL here, and the best part is that they compare the shipping prices from all of the different services so that you can get the best rate. I also bought boxes and tape from there. The staff are really nice and friendly. The guy who helped me (I think his name was Julius?) was funny and explained everything to me. The cashier, Edna, was also really nice. I highly recommend this place for your mailing and moving needs. They are  usually short staffed so just be patient. I love these guys; I rent a mailbox, use the shipping services and grab office supplies in a pinch.  They have always met my needs, and the services that came along with renting a a mailbox are great (accepting UPS and FedEx packages)I am so glad they are in my Washington Square West neighborhood!

Due to problems with another business, I've had to get fingerprinted three times now. However, the people and services at this place make it WAY easier and not a terrible thing, no matter how annoyed I am with having to do something for the third time. They have computers and printers (great since I'd forgotten to note the address I had to send things to), both ink and cogent fingerprinting, and full mail service. I was flooded with fearsome college memories upon entering South Street Mailboxes today. At first, I observed the employee with a keen, suspicious eye. Was she not the doppelganger of my sophomore year college roommate who attacked me with a kitchen knife (for eating a handful of her yogurt raisins) only to be fended off by her drug dealer boyfriend? The employee wielded the pen with the similar effortless knife-flare as my former roomie. Then she smiled and asked how my day was going and asked if there was anything else she could help me with. All too weirded out by their striking similarities, I failed to realize that she was actually really sweet. Especially considering the fact that I was on the phone during our transaction. I'm a jerk.This mailbox shop is my neighborhood go-to for all things faxing/shipping/printing and they never cease to be incredibly useful and pleasant. Now I want to go back and hug my lady-seller of postage stamps due to the guilt I feel for not having obviously appreciated her customer service. Gah. More...
