This is a special treat for the Pee Dee area. The best lunch buffet in the region, maybe The State by far. Located in a old beautiful house in central Darlington. The food is high quality prepared by an excellant chef. Prices are broke down by size of plates, from large, small, and senior plates which is a excellant value. This place was recommended to us by a woman at the Darlington Speedway, she said it had the best fried chicken among other things, she wasn't wrong. What a fantastic lunch we had! Alright-you say 4 stars for a buffet?  The food here is outstanding, southern favorites, high quality home cooking.  The historical venue, table linens, add to the overall lunch experience.  We were floored at the modest price for our 2 luncheon meals.  Recommend you save room for desert, the peach cobbler was one of the best made with local McBee peaches; strawberry shortcake made with a delicious shortbread with a hint of almond--yum.
