This is a special treat for the Pee Dee area. The best lunch buffet in the region, maybe The State by far. Located in a old beautiful house in central Darlington. The food is high quality prepared by an excellant chef. Prices are broke down by size of plates, from large, small, and senior plates which is a excellant value. The staff is outstanding and accommodating. Blessing is said at 1130 which opens the buffet. This is a must eat when visiting the Darlington/Florence/Hartsvile area. More...

South of Pearl has delicious food and fantastic service! I have been there almost each day of the week for lunch (they change it up just a little each time) and it is incredible food at very reasonable prices. Stop in for lunch! I have also been there for an event and their staff is nearly flawless. We love this place. More...

This place was recommended to us by a woman at the Darlington Speedway, she said it had the best fried chicken among other things, she wasn't wrong. What a fantastic lunch we had! We showed up with a party of 14 and they couldn't have been more accommodating. The buffet was wonderful everything was great. Thanks for the great southern hospitality. More...

Alright-you say 4 stars for a buffet? Â The food here is outstanding, southern favorites, high quality home cooking. Â The historical venue, table linens, add to the overall lunch experience. Â We were floored at the modest price for our 2 luncheon meals. Â Recommend you save room for desert, the peach cobbler was one of the best made with local McBee peaches; strawberry shortcake made with a delicious shortbread with a hint of almond--yum. More...

Gorgeous old house. Beautiful table setting. Real silverware and table linens. The food was all locally sourced and seasoned to near perfection. The squash was still crisp but tender. We were there on a Friday so there was flounder. Lightly breaded and fried. Delicate and delicious. The salad dressings appeared to be made in house. I was there for lunch. Dining in the evening requires reservations. Just walk in for lunch. Very highly recommended. More...

When in Darlington this is a must!!! Fresh and flavorful buffet lunch. Smoked brisket and fried chicken were perfection. And that sauce for the brisket? Made a vinegar lover out of this mustard sauce girl. Save room for dessert! We will be back! More...
