I just moved to South Bound Brook a few months ago, and I shopped around quite a bit at other gyms in the area before choosing South Bound Strength and Conditioning. I couldn't be happier with my choice! I love the workout program and philosophy here, and I can already see and feel results after just two months. But beyond the results, this is a place that instantly makes you feel part of a community and makes you look forward to working out every day. Just starting my 3rd week at South Bound Strength and Conditioning and I can honestly say I have never worked harder and felt more accomplished doing any other workout or exercise routine. What you receive when you come here is personal training to the fullest extent. Patrick, the owner, is beyond knowledgable and every workout is well designed. BOTTOM LINE UP FRONT: Erin and Pat are a literal dynamic duo of prehabilitative and rehabilitative therapy that has kept me relevant in a physically demanding career with special operations.

I'm a 40 year old, 20 year active duty member of US Special Operations Command with several deployments to combat and non-combat areas around the globe. I have sustained both combat, and non-combat related injuries. All injuries are musculoskeletal to include knee, ankle, hip, back, and shoulder injuries. I have had 9 surgeries overall. I have undergone 2 knee surgeries, one left and one right, while under Erin and Pat's care. Though I am no longer under their direct care, their prehabilitative approach is keeping me from falling under the knife a 10th time for a recently detected, 10 year old hip fracture (work that booty!).

While Erin and Pat are clearly well credentialed and capable, it is the synergy between the two which benefits patients and clients the most. After injury, my treatment would begin with Erin who worked to return me to an acceptable level of physical functionality. When ready, she transfers care to Pat for athletic recovery vital to special operators. The constant communication between therapist, coach, and patient ensures rapid recovery that transcends a simple patient/client relationship. Together they teach and enable the patient/client to learn and apply pre/re-hab techniques autonomously or with little supervision (don't get caught cheating!).

My personal story is not uncommon. There are literally hundreds of special operators with similar stories who share a personal relationship with both Erin and Pat. While I am sad to see my friends go, I am thankful to have had them in my life. Without them I'm convinced my injuries would get the better of me. As a result of their interventions I continue to operate at a high level and do not pose a risk to my men or our mission.

There are no fitting words to describe my absolute trust and highest recommendation of their services.

Joined during their grand opening, open house in early Jan 2017. I have to say this has been one of my best decisions. A bit skeptical at first but as I started to train with Patrick I quickly began to see results. In previous gyms I would just throw the weights around and call it a day never realizing there were areas for improvement. My focus was always on strength but I would hit walls. Patrick taught me to think differently about my workouts. Lack of Flexibility and Endurance to pull through rigorous activity was preventing me from overcoming the walls I had with increasing my strength. Patrick's program blends strength, endurance, and core building workouts to promote a well rounded training atmosphere that is fun, challenging, motivating and most of all Builds Self Confidence.
