We ordered a 1 meat plate with sausage… they repeated it back correctly… the receipt said sausage… and it’s difficult to check your order when there are two containers in the bag. We live 30 minutes from there… got home and it’s brisket. I can’t eat brisket. Thank you to the incompetent person who ruined my meal. Y’all suck. More...

Placed a drive-thru order at 1:30 PM for a Chuck Wagon and a slab of ribs—get home and I didn’t get my ribs. Call Soulman’s and speak to the young lady who took my order. It takes a while, but the manager “R.J.” finally gets on the phone and I repeat to him that my order of ribs were missing. He asks for the description of my full order, then asks if I can come back to get the ribs. I tell him I can’t and ask if he can take my name down and also if I can be further compensated—he replied he couldn’t do anything to further compensate me. I started to see red when he repeated that the cashier “Lindsay” (my order receipt says my cashier’s name is “DT”) said she’d given me the ribs. Well, one thing I CANNOT stand is to be called a liar. Actually, RJ eventually stood corrected when he told me that they were “out of ribs” and wouldn’t have any more ready until after 4:30 PM. Suffice it to say, I will be calling corporate on Monday. Not only does Soulman’s Greenville location owe me some ribs—management owes me an apology. I can understand the little cashier’s lying to cover herself in this situation, but it was beyond negligent of RJ to repeat such an inflammatory accusation to the actual customer. I realize times are hard and therefore maybe there are people out here doing outrageous things to survive, but I’m not in that number. Go ahead—review your surveillance video if you have to. More...

I came in on a Monday evening, there was nobody else in the building as a customer and two people leaving as I entered. Fully 2/3 of the tables were piled with dirty dishes and the new employees all behind the counter. Extremely expensive for the portion size the sides. More...

We’ve been to the Sulphur Springs location twice now and was disappointed both times. I find it ironic that when you walk in Christian music is blaring yet we were charged $31. 80 for two baked potato meals with sausage. The amount of sausage (meat) they put on the potato equals about a 1/4 of a link at best which means we paid $15+ mostly for a baked potato with butter, sour cream and cheese. No bacon or green onions included. Don’t fall for the pictures on their posts because they’re very deceiving. I saw a couple that were loaded with brisket. Nope. That’s not at all what you get. It’s a shame that they’re presenting themselves as “Christian’s” yet way overcharging for their food. I even saw posts this morning of a man (the owner I’m assuming) reading scripture? The sausage is delicious which is the main reason we went but we won’t be going back any time soon. With this economy I don’t know how they can feel good about what they’re doing to folks. It just ain’t right. More...

The one in Red Oak is very racist I was done so wrong by the server there by the name of Thomas. This place was upsetting I took my family there tonight and the way we were treated was horrible. The guy threatened to call the cops, he tried to serve me the burnt pieces of the pull pork and he began to get really mad when I just told him I didn’t want it. I feel if you are black you better not go to this one this was racism front and center and they will not get a dollar of mine or my family that’s for sure. More...

First of all, we went to this restaurant, Soulman's BBQ in Sulphur Springs, much to my hesitation, as they are overpriced, but went with friends. The prices have always been ridiculous and the food was awful. They must have a shortage of paper plates as our orders came out slapped on a piece of paper on a tray. For $50.00 for me and Garry Shirley, (not worth it), you would think we could at least get a dang plate. The pinto beans had zero taste. They were like eating cardboard. The pecan pie had no taste whatsoever. The brisket was decent. I'll give them that. Bodacious BBQ across the road is awesome. So don't waste your $$ going to this joke of a restaurant. They should have been paying us to eat their garbage. THAT IS ALL!! 🤬🤬🤬 More...

Went for the first time yesterday with a buddy. We ordered the big chuck wagon of bbq....it has everything. It was delicious. Pork was 😯 super delicious. Couldn't stop eating the ribs. The brisket juicy. Sweet corn is awesome, as was the beans. Fried okra....oooohhh yummy. Service was also first rate. They gave me samples, and a LOT of extras. Look....don't think about it. Just make the trip and eat here. It will be worth it. I'll be coming back for sure. More...
