Everything was excellent. I originally came in for pho, but decided to order the Mongolian Beef from the lunch menu. It was so good! My husband got the organize chicken. The food was absolutely outstanding, and the cocktails were very creative, and delicious, and the presentation of them is beautiful. I’m actually a bartender, so these things stand out to me. They have happy hour till 6, and all the cocktails were half off, as well as select appetizers. We had the spring rolls, and the spicy crispy calamari, and both were over the top. Then the entree’s came, and the portions were HUGE! None of us were able to finish our meals, but the quality of the food was phenomenal. Everything was so fresh, and full of meat and shrimp. I ordered the Singapore noodles. I've had the same type of noodle at many other places but this one was nicely presented and tasted to be of gourmet quality.  It was amazingly good. Best I've ever tasted so far. We've dined here since it was PT Noodles before and I have to say the chef at Song Lynn is fantastic. The quality put into the making of the food shows and tastes amazing.   My husband had pho and liked that. The fried shrimp appetizer was delicious and we also ordered chow fun to go and that was really good too.  The staff is so friendly and gives you great service. Everything we had was absolutely delicious. The sesame chicken was super flavorful and juicy. The Combo appetizer had three amazing rolls with delicious sauces. The two cocktails that I had were sweet and very yummy as well! We also tried and loved the dumpling soup and the Combo Lo Mein as well as the fried wontons. A definite 10/10 in our opinion and we will be and have been back since our original visit. The Mongolian Beef is absolutely delicious and you can choose your level of spicy! Amazing service the moment we opened the door! Even with this new way of living we could tell the gentleman who seated us was smiling under his mask while talking with us. The decor inside was beautiful and the menu vast. I have had Song Lynn on my list of places to try for a while so I was so glad to see their open for dine in. I ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee, a large shrimp pho and my son a marinated pork and rice meal. Everything came out quickly and so fresh! My veggies for the pho were delicious and my jalapeños hot. My son couldn't get enough of the pork and even said he was sad when he had none left ha ha. As I said, service was amazing from beginning to end and we can't wait to go again with my entire family! I have been dying for Vietnamese, real Vietnamese food since I moved from Canada! We had the Lemongrass Beef, Lemon Grass Chicken and the shrimp wraps, my god! Everything was cooked to perfection, wonderful vegetables, meat was awesome and wonderfully spiced, not going to rip your lips off, but definitely spicy. Good wine selection, and had lucky Buddha beer. I hope the add coconut rice on the menu someday, and Vietnamese custard for dessert, the Americanized dessert options were not my cup of tea. I have tried several items from this restaurant, but my favorite by a large margin is their chicken fried rice and their bbq pork fried rice. Their fried rice is a little more expensive than some of the other Asian restaurants, but the dish is freshly prepared, always tastes delicious, and they give you a decent sized portion.Located near the AMC movie theater, it's a convenient place to dine in and have a bite to eat before the movie starts. Was in desperate need of some soup tonight as I couldn't handle solid foods after some dental work. I'm a sucker for Vietnamese food especially Pho, but my normal spot was closed so I was forced to try a new spot. I was extreme not happy I stepped out of the box and tried this place. The wife and I went classic I had the large combo pho and she had regular beef pup and we split the 4 piece egg roll. The egg rolls were spot on. Crispy outside with a warm inside and full of flavor! The downside being traditionally you have lettuce to wrap the egg rolls and for 4 rolls we only had one lettuce leaf. The large combo pho was excellent. I normally can take down pho and put it away pretty easily. I was no match for this! I took out about half before having to put it in the container for lunch tomorrow. The broth was delicious you could tell it was worked on and perfected and wasn't your run of the milk beef broth. The beef was plentiful. There were two different cuts of meat within the soup and I would say about 6 pieces each' the tendon and tripe was cooked well, still chewy but not overly annoying to spend time on. Thank you! Who knew what could happen in such a short time span?! Family needed that comfort food during this time of coronavirus scare and craziness outside. We couldn't recreate the beautiful atmosphere of the restaurant but we tried our best to present our take home order as presentable as possible. Missed their A+ service but at least we got to relax and eat the delicious take home meals! Phone in or Order online. They'll take your food out to the car, and put it in themselves to lessen contact. Can't make it out? They got you covered, too! ask about how to get your food delivered. Stay sane and safe! Came here one day and found out the name of the restaurant had changed. We wanted Asian food but didn't feel like doing a buffet. Appearance: The interior was nice & clean, we were greeted right away with a smile from the hostess. The seating were modern and presentable.Service: We noticed when we walked in and sat down that there was a button on the end of the table and later found out, you could press the button if you needed the attention of the staff. I thought that was such a brilliant idea, however we never had to use it since our waiter was outstanding! Our waiter was friendly, attentive & very personable which made our dinning experience very pleasurable.Price: Pricing was fair, the portions on the main entrees were plentiful.Food: We shared the Eggrolls & Fried Wonton, my husband got the Pho, my daughter had the sesame chicken and I had the Yang Chow Style Fried rice. Song Lynn's newest location is simply spectacular in every way!There were four of us and each of us (a somewhat tough crowd to please) were extremely happy with our food choices!  We ordered the pork and shrimp spring rolls, the pork sausage rolls, and egg rolls as appetizers... and the "Shaking Beef", "Phad Thai", grilled pork rice entree, and the Yang Chow Fried Rice!The pork and shrimp spring rolls were tasty and the pork sausage rolls were even better!  I absolutely loved the Yang Chow - it was PACKED with large prices of fried egg, shrimp, fried pork, and pork sausage!  Soooo good!  My mom raved about the Phad Thai (which is somewhat rare for her to do) and said it was her favorite in the Valley!  And even my dad was happy with the flavor of his Shaking Beef!   Plenty of gluten-free options available at Song Lynn, although you still need to come in with a good understanding of what is gluten-free vs what is not.  If you have that understanding, then you will be good to go here!The restaurant had a new clean feel to it... and the l service was very warm, friendly, helpful, and attentive!  I will definitely be back to this location!Gluten-free rating: ****4 stars*********FIVE STARS***** More...

This was formally PT Noodles in Surprise, and I assume it was bought out for Song Lynn. It's a total upgrade from PT Noodles. There was a good number of egg rolls (4) with an average price ($5.95) and it came out hot and crispy. I went ahead and also tried their marinated grilled pork spring rolls (2 for $4.95). The pork had a really good char to it and the crunch from the finely chopped lettuce was delicious and a good pairing to the pork. I thought the peanut sauce was a bit bland, though, but added some chili sauce- definitely tasted better. The entree I tried was their Song Lynn combination pho ($9.95 for a regular) and I was quite pleased with the overall flavor. The broth was clear and the flavor peaked through for a pho dish. Their tripe was ample and I loved the meats. I kept this to four stars because of the pricing. There's honestly no reason to charge almost $6 for four egg rolls because it's cheap to make. Same with the spring rolls and the pho. I thought for a regular bowl of pho, the price was a bit steep. But overall the dishes were great and I wouldn't mind coming back.  Their staff was super attentive and always checked my table often. I have been eating at the original Song Lynn at 91st/Thomas for the past 5 years, where they even received the well deserved Best of Phoenix New Times award.  My extended family and I (often 15+people) would celebrate family birthdays there 3 to 4 times a year or it would be our go to comfort place after a long trip back from California or wherever.  Never have I experienced any illness or service issues since being a customer.   It is in fact the opposite.   At some of the typical central PHX Vietnamese places, you get good food, but you usually don't get much in the way of service or cleanliness, and you might be scared to use the bathroom.  At Song Lynn, you get the good food and you get a nice place to eat and well trained, polite wait staff!   The staff is always welcoming, and for their regulars, they often know what regular dishes you order.I was very excited to here about a Surprise location which is closer to me!   We again had a large party at the restaurant.   The new place looks amazing with updated, stylish decor, almost like an Original Song Lynn but an XXL version.   The cha gio came quickly (fried egg rolls) like little pieces of heaven rolled up and fried.   I enjoyed my favorite comfort dish, the Vietnamese Beef Stew, still excellent with tender, slow-cooked beef, chunks of veggies and the right amount of seasoning.   My wife enjoyed the pho which again were tasty standards.   I have had before my favorites which are also on this new location menu - crispy calamari - light and perfectly crispy real squid not thick deep fried stuff usually found in other places.  Stir fried eggplant - another fave, perfectly cooked, tender Asian eggplant.   On my To Eat List next visit, will be the Seafood combo dish S10 with lobster, shrimp, scallop.   Hopefully it is similar to the stir fry lobster at the OG location which was da bomb.Overall, we were happy with our dining experience at the new place and happy it was closer.  Excellent, well made /flavored Vietnamese cuisine in an upscale setting and good service included!  (They do also have nice bathrooms).
