Nikki and Neal were so great with my 4 teenagers!!! My kids are 15, 16, 18, and 19. They really captured their personalities and made everyone feel at ease. The pictures are stunning and everyone that sees them wants to know who the photographer is. I purchased the package for 25 photos thinking that would be plenty. Not the case! Ordered way more, just too many we had to have. If you need any kind of photos I am sure they will be an amazing choice but I can personally say that a dream to work with teenagers and getting them to touch each other, lol! This session we had was absolutely amazing. Would definitely recommend anyone and everyone who wanted to get pictures at the beach. It was a perfect spot on the water and on the sand. I don't even know where to start. Nikki and Neal are AMAZING!! They were flexible and accommodating when weather threatened our session (which was to commemorate our daughter's first trip to the beach! ). Nikki and Neal were so warm and easy to work with. When we had rain scheduled to roll in on the date we selected for a family beach photo they kindly rolled our session to the following evening when the weather was looking better.
Our sneak peek cake out the very next day and the whole family LOVeD it and can’t wait to see the finished gallery!

Nikki and Neal were AWESOME to work with! I had a surprise proposal for my girlfriend at the beach, and Nikki worked with me every step of the way, and couldn't have been more helpful with all the secrecy and logistics involved. Since we're from out of town and unfamiliar with the area, she gave location suggestions, time of day suggestions, did some reconnaissance work in advance to make sure we had the perfect light and gave detailed directions of where to rendezvous. Nikki and Neal, along with their wonderful daughter, were both early and waiting on us and played into my surprise proposal perfectly. They then did a GREAT session with us after, and got us photos in a quick and timely manner. I highly suggest working with them, and we will use them again when we're back in the Myrtle Beach area! She was also very flexible when our plans changed due to Hurricane Irma. Nikki is very talented and brought out the best in our family. My family and I have started a tradition every summer. During our summer vacation, we like to have a professional photographer take family photos. Before we left for Myrtle Beach, my wife and I did a lot of research online. We were very impressed with Nikki’s portfolio and decided to go with Something Like Life Photography. We were not disappointed. Nikki and Neal were great with our kids. While our son was happy during our session, our daughter was being a little difficult. But Nikki and Neal were extremely patient and even offered to reschedule for later in the week. Fortunately, our daughter pulled it together and we were able to finish our session. Nikki was able to capture some really special family moments and we can’t wait to display them in our home. Something Like Life Photography exceeded our expectations and we wouldn’t hesitate to use them again if we’re in the Myrtle Beach area again.
