The new owner Nikki has been cutting my hair for over a year and I gladly followed her to her new salon. She's amazing! I also had the opportunity for her stylist Nancy to cut my hair, and I was really impressed. I was just going for a color change but she recommend me to do balayage highlights, because she said it will lasting longer. IM IN LOVE!!!! I don't trust ANYBODY with my hair and after driving and walking by this place so many times and reading their reviews I finally walked in. Best decision ever!!I came in to lighten my hair.I brought a picture and was set that this is what I wanted. The hair stylist(Tika)told me she would test my hair (1-2 strands)before doing anything drastic and THANK GOD SHE DID! My hair was not taking the color well. This one step saved my hair from 1. Falling off2. Ending w a color I did not likeI loved the attention they(Tika and Nikki)gave me! I may have not walked out with what I wanted (my hair is too weak) but I walked out with an amazing haircut. I came in on my lunch break for a Deluxe Facial with Nikki and it completely turned my day around. Thanks to the Yelp reviews, I found my new spot for a mid-day pampering. The salon was clean, full of light, and great energy. Nikki was warm and knowledgeable, expertly skilled and gave me guidance on what kind of peel to get. Yes I have no shame, I review what I think is useful to you guys. I was in desperate need of a lip wax and I'm glad I found this place! :) I was taken care of by the owner, she was very sweet and welcoming. She used the light lamp on me ( the one they use for microdermabrasion) so she can see everything! I was a little embarrassed, but glad she pays that much attention to detail. I just had the most incredible massage from Houston! He is knowledgeable, he asks questions and he listens. the ambiance of his massage studio is simple yet impactful. Soleil Beauty Salon is the best beauty salon I've ever been in. I'm only in the US for a period of 4 months, but I've already been there several times, because of the great service and results. All the ladies in the salon are so nice, friendly and personable, and they will make you feel comfortable as soon as you step in. They take their job very seriously in the way that they listen to you to make sure they know exactly what you want, and they work very focused and careful to make sure you get the right results - but still with a great, relaxing and fun atmosphere!I've had the pleasure of getting highlights in roots by Courie Mitchell and I've never had highlights that matched my own hair color so much! A couple of my friends have had their hair done as well both color and hair cuts and they've all been very pleased and happy about the result!Another of my friends got an ombre by Noemi, and she's still so amazed by it - and I must agree - it's the most beautiful and naturally looked ombre, I've ever seen.I also got a haircut and nails done a couple of times by Nikki, and you can really tell that they care about quality products. I was recommended to Soleil after moving to DTLA .. I was looking for a permanent salon to cut my hair. I went in for  a cut and color. Btw...my hair was long (mid back almost waist length) and natural (black). I went in wanting to do something drastic so i decided to chop it all off (above shoulder length) and go light light. My stylist Noemi, recommended something a lil different...saying my dark hair might not grab the  light color i wanted to go as light as. She recommended i try Ombre, as a low maintenance option. I was really happy and impressed with the results im loving my hair!! Not only was Noemi experienced and proffessional but she was super sweet , attentive and listened to what i asked for. After walking passed this place almost everyday after work, I decided to go and get a manicure. It was a little after 6pm  so it wasn't really busy. Inside has a warmth to it with yellow walls and nice decor. It had an upscale vibe but was still quaint and relaxing. The music was a nice touch as well. I tried this place yesterday for a cut with Nancy.  First time here and I'm definitely coming back.  I showed up complete unprepared (no magazine photos or list of 'requirements'). . just a vague idea of I wanted (ie. 1-inch off with some layers and no short bangs).  Nancy rocked it.  She listened and right away knew my hair type... very fine hair so layers are needed for movement and unruly small curls around the face which make bangs a nightmare.  It was just a pleasant, laid-back experience... just the way I want to spend my Saturdays.The entire staff was very professional... very relaxed, inviting setting.  I definitely recommend this place to others.Thank you Nancy!!  And I'll be back for my facial.  :-)- Claudia More...

i got a yelp deal i think it was $60 for $100 worth of servicesso i chose a facial & a massage. forgot the length of the massage but it was a 30 mins i chose. the facial was maybe 15 mins?so after the coupon i believe i owed 10$. still good $70 for a much needed deep tissue & a faciali made my appt right when they  opened so i was the only one thereblonde pretty lady who treated me was great; professional & not too chatty but not mute.my skin felt tight & not gross greasy afterwards but it accentuated the pimple i had even more. my uppper back felt great afterwards & she also asked if she was going too rough as the massage took place.. i went as deep as i could....the massage/facial took place in the same room; the massage bed was just folded & put away when we were done & this was a private bedroom btwyes i will return ( even though that coupon is for 1st time buyers i think id be too embarrased to bring it in again anyways) as i do not dig burke williams & the ktown spas are intimidating.. For years and years, I have never found a stylist that really understood my hair. It wasn't until recently when I stumbled upon Soleil that I found the person that knew my hair: Nancy. To begin, everything about this salon is lovely; the staff, ambiance, and decor.When I entered the establishment, I was politely greeted by one of the members. Nancy was currently working on someone else's hair, so they asked me to take a seat and offered me beverages.The seats were comfortable and stylish. The entirety of the room has a contemporary feel that will always have a guest in awe with the beauty of this place.When it was my turn to get my haircut, Nancy asked what I wanted. I told her my usual style, but I wanted to venture out and try something. So I told her that I trusted her judgement and would go along with whatever she thought I would look best. It was a relaxing experience getting my cut, then washing my hair, and touching up the end. When I finally looked in the mirror, I was in shock with what she did; it looked amazing!Most people think that men cuts are easy to do, but they're not. When a boy comes in to get their hair done, a stylist is only given a limited canvas with limited outcomes. So determining what that outcome would look best on a guy, that is art. She took into consideration my ears and facial structure and even got rid of the annoying flyaways I normally have.Overall, I highly recommend this place.
