Estate Planning
I assist clients in choosing whether they would like a Will or a Trust. I draft all the necessary paperwork for the Will or Trust, including deeds transferring their real property into the Trust. I also draft Power of Attorney forms, Advance Directives, Guardianship Nominations, Disposition of Remains, and Healthcare Disclosure forms.
Probate Administration
I assist, draft, and file all necessary court documents with the probate court. I have several years of experience handling full probates, small estate affidavits, and wrongful death probates. I have worked with personal injury attorneys to get probate approval to settle personal injury and wrongful death claims.
Trust Administration
I assist Successor Trustees in administering the Trust after the death of the Grantor. I send out all required notices to the beneficiaries, help the Trustee account for all assets, keep the Trustee apprised of deadlines, and draft the annual and/or final trustee report. My firm also has tax attorneys ready to assist if the Trust or Estate needs to file taxes.
