Been going to the library nearly weekly since the pandemic begin, each and every time wearing a face shield recommended to me by my doctor after having some breathing issues with the the heavier cloth. There signs mandate "face covering over the nose and moutjh," which my face shield fully accommodates. My first stop every visit is to the security desk to get my parking card stamped. At no time in these months has anyone said even one word about my face shield. But today a rude white man publicly humiliated me, making a big scene about a covering that full meets their and the states definition of face covering. I was spoken rudely too in length, prevented from checking out some dvds, and was kicked out of the library. now, im not allowed back in without a cloth mask, despite my doctor order not to wear one. Yet they keep taking a sliver of my taxes for their funding. This is simply unethical and unacceptable. More...
