Dined early at SOBO with another couple before attending the Illusions Bar Magic show (which was surprisingly great!). Food was pretty good, but not outstanding. The ginger/carrot soup was extremely spicy hot (and we like hot). Scallops were really good but the butternut squash base was tepid, a real bummer. Husband said the chicken pot pie was very tasty (but he had really bad heartburn that night—the pastry crust). Burger was huge and really good, lots of bacon per our friend. Enjoyed a fantastic meal at Sobo last night. We arrived in town for the first time and were looking for somewhere close to our rental for dinner. So happy we chose SoBo.
