It has a good variety of equipment, is clean, and when a machine broke they had it fixed fairly quickly. The only complaint I had is that it took time to actually get my card to obtain access to the place!

I was in Flagstaff visiting family over Veteran's Day weekend and looking for a gym I could work out in for a couple days. After searching, several gym listings came up. I called the closest to me first, which was Anytime Fitness, and apparently they are not "anytime" if you are not already a member. They don't have anyone staffing or even answering messages several days a week, which includes Saturday and Sunday, so no luck there. I left a message for Planet Fitness, who never even bothered to call me back and it's been 2 days since I left Flagstaff if that tells you anything. After those two gym attempts, I was not expecting much luck, but decided to drive over to Snap Fitness. I saw the sign on the door with a number to call, thinking I had probably struck out again with an unstaffed members-only situation, but was pleasantly surprised when Warren the owner actually answered. He was so friendly and nice, when I told him my situation he offered to come right over! The gym is sparkling clean, and has more than adequate equipment and cardio machines to get a good workout in. I like to lift weights, and most smaller gyms don't have any bars or plates, much less a smith machine or full set up for cable pull downs or bars to work lats, triceps, etc. Snap Fitness does. In addition, while the other gyms have guest fees of $15 per day, Snap Fitness charges $5 per day. I would definitely recommend Snap Fitness to anyone looking for a gym to join or just workout in as a guest. Great owner and nice facility. More...

I've been a member at Snap since I was 16 (well actually at 15 I would sneak in because I wasn't old enough, but shhh don't tell anyone). Point being, I've stayed a member for a decade because this place is great. In high school I went to their Elm Grove location and when I moved downtown I started coming to this one.It's genuinely always clean, the space is very open, and they have literally all the machines, free weights, and other muscle building options you could need. I most often use their treadmills, stair master, TRX straps, and dumbbells, but when I feel like switching it up I use the machines, which are very well kept. Everything operates smoothly and oiled, if that makes sense. I do *wish* they had another stair stepper machine (my fave), but hey a girl can dream. This location has been continually making updates since I've been coming here. New paint job, new and additional equipment, added heart rate monitoring (if you wish to use it), and just in general moving things around to figure out how to best keep the space open. It's actually pretty rare I feel on top of anyone else working out, thankfully!They have 24 hour access which is very ideal - you simply need to key in and out. There's generally an employee there during regular work-day hours incase you need anything or would like to inquire about personal training, which they offer as well. Extra points for free wifi and good radio stations always playing over the speaker system. If you're looking for a new and hassle-free spot to sweat, I'd definitely recommend this spot. More...

This gym is on the smaller side, and doesn't have every single machine, nor does it have much in the way of a free weight area. What it does have is a nice, clean, safe environment with enough machines and Olympic bars to get a thorough and proper workout done! This is not a bodybuilders gym, but if you're knowledgeable you can definitely get a full and intense workout done here. My favorite part is 1) that it is 24 hours and 2) that if you go during "off hours" during the day or early evening there is nobody there to get in the way of knocking out supersets. This is exactly what I was looking for and at a very reasonable price for what is offered. There is a water cooler at the front for anybody who isn't prepared and doesn't bring a shaker bottle of bcaa's, and complimentary towels to dry yourself with. My only complaint is that it's a bit warm, but then again if you're scared of sweating what are you doing in the gym? I would recommend this place but don't want too many people to start showing up and clogging up what is basically my own private gym lol More...
