I had a jailbreaker sandwich.... It's the only thing I ever get there.... It is so very awesome, I don't even want to try the rest!

My husband and I try out barbeque everywhere we travel. We stopped by here on our way back from a family vacation in Northern Kentucky. Husband got Jailbreaker sandwich, son got Pig Taters and I got half rack or baby back ribs. Corn nuggets for appetizers were hot, crispy shell with creamy insides in some sort of dill sauce. Perfect. The ribs were tender and juicy-not so easy to do with baby backs. Thought I was going to have some saved for later, but they were gone before I could stop myself. The fries were awesome, too. Perfectly crisped on the outside without being dry or greasy. This place was a great find, as testified by the folks who started streaming in after us (we were there early). Great table service too. We've been traveling for a couple days and been wanting a good BBQ meal. We walked into a place two days ago only to have the power go out as soon as we walked in because of high winds that downed nearby power lines. After the wait, Smokey Bears BBQ was much anticipated and did not disappoint. I ordered the pig taters and my husband ordered the jailbreaker. Both were delicious! We ended up taking half the sandwich and 1/3 of the tots home. The service was super friendly and the prices were very reasonable. This will be a regular stop whenever we are back in the area. Oh my Goodness! This Place was MAGNIFICENT we had the Sampler the Brisket, Ribs, smoked chicken and pork tasted oh so DELICIOUS! !! The Cole slaw is sweet and tasty, the hush puppies was good  and so was the fries, they were nice and hot and crispy but not over done! Just a great meal. Found this place in Corbin Kentucky on our way home from Knoxville, glad we did we will definitely be back down for some good food and Southern hospitality, the girls in the restaurant were so lovely everyone was so hospitable. Smokey Bear's bbq catered my son's wedding and the bbq was the best we have ever had! The bbq pulled chicken and pork were tender, moist , and tasty. You could cut the brisket with a fork and it was seasoned to perfection. They also served made from scratch baked beans, southwest corn, and seasoned potatoes.These were not boring sides, they were delicious. Did I mention the home made sauces? Yummy. The owner and staff were easy to work with and responsive to our many questions. My husband said he would marry me again if Smokey Bear's would cater the reception! There's not enough space, and not enough words, to express how truly impressed we were with not only the food but also the service and friendliness provided by the guys at Smokey Bear's BBQ. I hadn't had Smokey Bears for about a year and a half but had time to stop in last week. It was as delicious as it always was, if not better! If you're feeling hungry, treat yourself to the Jailbreaker! It's one of the best sandwiches you're gonna have. This is always my go to with an order of fries. Speaking of fries, they seemed different albeit still great. But they're a crinkle cut and were crispy and a nice golden brown color. You ever had those fries with BBQ and anticipate a soggy bunch of potatoes? Not here.And although the inside dining isn't very large, they have TVs you can watch from wherever you sit, staff is very friendly and your food will be ready before you know it.If you're just passing through, this is a must try for any BBQ lovers.
