If you love Texas BBQ then Smoke Sessions is a must try. Top three in my opinion in the North Texas area and top 10 in the Lone Star State. If you have any inkling of an interest in the BBQ world and wanting to learn as a beginner to upping your game as a old school smoke master, then I highly recommend taking one of their classes. Chad and Jessica Sessions along with Chris Finch are amazing and truly share their knowledge of Q. It’s a hands on get your hands dirty type of class as they throw in their beginnings and journey to where they are now. I know brisket is king, but don’t over look their turkey, ribs, and sausage. First time here. Got a chopped beef sandwich and we shared fries and the brisket jalapeño popper egg rolls. Everything was excellent. The beef had great flavor and the sauce was excellent. Smoke Sessions saved my wedding 😭😭 After a nightmare situation came to life & my previous caterer ended up cancelling on us the week before our wedding, I called Smoke Sessions & they pulled together the perfect menu for us at a very reasonable price! The food was absolutely delicious!!!! Myself, my husband, & many of our guests commented that was THE BEST BBQ we have ever had! We had an amazing lunch today at Smoke Sessions! The Finch BBQ brisket burger sandwich was amazing! It’s a must!!!! We also enjoyed the fries, Mac and cheese, and cherry and apple fried pies! Went here yesterday, the man who was cutting the meat and took your order, was extremely rude, told us “we would just have to hold on”, when we were already standing there for about 5 minutes, then he was rude to my grandmother who asked for strictly no fat in her sandwich, he proceeds to put the fat right smack dab in the middle of it, while looking her dead in the eye. Work on your people skills, the only nice people there that we encountered was the girl you pay, and the bartender. The brisket tasted like they poured gallons and gallon of salt on it, couldn’t even finish it, not to mention the prices there, are OUTRAGEOUS. 0/10 would not recommend. More...

I just need to brag on y’all for a second. I’ll keep it short and sweet, but our smoked turkey order got messed up today and you guys made it right. I ended up with a brisket and sides instead…and the owner was super apologetic. I know not everyone got the same treatment because they left and I happened to stay there on the phone trying to figure out what I was doing for dinner. To those folks that didn’t get your turkey, please don’t judge Smoke Sessions by what happened today. The owner was doing his best to make it right and has been dealing with staffing issues and things just got messed up. Give them the benefit of the doubt and your business! They can’t make it without us going there to eat and supporting them. I just wanted to recognize your effort to make it right and let folks know that you guys are an awesome place, with great food and a big heart. Highly recommend the chopped brisket sandwich! The Mac n Cheese is spiral pasta with more of a garlic Alfredo type sauce. Potato salad is red potatoes with red onion and cilantro.

It’s overpriced and doesn’t taste that great considering the all the hype that I heard about. I didn’t care for the brisket, and the sausage was even worse. Smoke sessions is an amazing BBQ experience. As a fellow Pitmaster I know what it takes to deliver quality BBQ. Smoke Sessions is truly getting it done. From the front of the house to the back of the house and the pits they go the extra mile to make your visit a memorable one. Every staff member was very good at what they do and extremely friendly. The man serving the brisket asked me what part of the brisket I wanted, I knew right then I was in the right place, brisket point, flat & burnt ends were awesome, the pork ribs, Mac and cheese, potato salad and Cole slaw were awesome, this place does not disappoint, I will be back and try the house sausage and turkey, highly recommended

Excellent service, great smoked meats! In particular, the garlic sausage and pork ribs were especially outstanding. The brisket is delicious both tastewise and visually- THAT BARK. The prickly pear margarita on the rocks with jalapeño was very refreshing and tasty. They are supporters of military and law enforcement and offer a 10% discount.
