SmileHi Photo Booth

We hired Smilehi for our wedding and they were amazing!! I found their packages to be very reasonable and our guests had the best time popping into the photo booth throughout the reception. It was great to have the open-air booth where large groups could all fit in together, I think it made it more inclusive group activity and encouraged more people to join in. It was also a great touch to be able to include the photo book with a copy of everyone's photo booth pictures throughout the night and written messages along with them. A lot of people didn't see our guest book so this was another great way to get a note from the guest with an added bonus of the photos to go along with it. I'm a fail.... it's taken me waaaaay to long to get to this review. From start to finish working with smilehi was a breeze. Prompt and professional with reasonable prices and quality services. We had a special event at the Hawaii School for the Deaf and Blind. So it was a lil complicated and we needed a lil extra care to make sure things went smoothly for the kids. I highly recommend this photo booth company! It was our first time having a photo booth for one of our parties and I was pretty impressed. Rylan was always available and always open to any questions I had. He made the process very simple where I never worried about a thing. He made the template and it was perfect the very first time! He knew exactly what we wanted and made everything perfect. His staff was very friendly and was on time, they were very good with communicating throughout the night as far was informing us how much time we had left. Rylan and SmileHi captured every moment of our special day. Our wedding day couldn't have been more perfect. They were flexible and accommodating. Rylan and his team were able to convey all of the love in all of the videos: the video clip which we showed after our slideshow, the highlight video, and the full wedding day video. Our family and friends loved the videos and we do too! We not only got to keep those memories forever, but SmileHi got the editing finished so quickly. They really treat you like family. My parents had their 20th wedding anniversary which they did a validation at the church April 7th. We hired SmileHI for their videography and photo booth services as a surprise gift to our parents. Rylan and his team were very awesome! The first time I talked to Rylan over the phone I knew I was making the right choice as he was very accomodating and responsive to all my concerns and questions. He provided the package that suit our needs within our budget. I was very impressed with the outcome of the photo booth layout since it was how I imagined it, beyond perfection! I made a right choice when I get them to cover for my baby's smash the cake, video presentation for her first birthday, party coverage and Photo booth.  A complete package with a great deal. I am very meticulous on the details on how things how it would be, of course I'm a first time mom, for my princess I dream for her 1st birthday to be more special, I haven't organized a party before so I don't know if all things will be ok. But as days pass getting busy and all things end up to rush things for the party, a big thanks for RYLAN, his wife and Harold they really help us a lot, for the preparations and give some ideas that turn out great. This is the best and most efficient videography company on the island My husband and I got married on 01*06*2017 at the Moana Surfrider in Waikiki. The team was punctual incredibly professional. Weeks before the wedding, Rylan was patient and helpful with offering us a package suitable for our needs.  We were told turnaround time would be 3-6 weeks however, I was pleased when our wedding video arrived two weeks after!!!! I'm so happy to post this review for Rylan. I didn't meet him until my wedding day.. I got to take photos in his booth at my Uncle's retirement party where I got to see his booth and print quality.  I had to price him.. he had exactly what I was looking for.  He worked so well with me and helped me find a way to make my budget work. He handled my photobooth and my videography for my wedding. His photobooth was amazing. I loved the open air type of booths and his props were the best and so fun to use! Now the video he made for my highlight real was the best of it all ... myself and my kids must have watched it 100 times since we got the final edit on Saturday.. since being posted on FB I'm happy to report that everyone loved it. He chose my final song with my husband and picked parts of my videos that made my day seem so magical. There was so much love in the video thanks to him for composing the BEST parts of my wedding in just one short video. I can't stop gushing about how much I love Rylan and what he's done to make my wedding so amazing... he is now my go to guy to make all my photobooth arrangements and videography for my events forEVER. We hired Smilehi for our wedding last weekend and we are so glad we did. Our guests of all ages enjoyed the photo booth-- even the people who normally hates taking pictures! They have lots of unique props and the custom layout was perfect. The staff are friendly and professional. They gave us an album with a copy of everyone's photos and a little message written next to each of them, which allowed us to look back and see our family and friends having fun. Let me just start off with writing that I am one of those people that do everything last minute. I am a new mom and haven't really had any experience throwing birthday parties for children. The day before my son's birthday I literally called 4 different Photobooth rental companies off of yelp, one said their rate was some ridiculous number per hour, another said they don't do last minute reservations (totally my fault) and the others never even bothered to call me back. Then I found SmileHi. The owner was very professional, polite and told me straight forward their rate for the time I wanted to rent (3 hours) it was a very reasonable price. They asked me for an idea of what I wanted the template (photo border) to look like and I put together something quick and kind of sloppy on my photoshop app, they sent me back my template with an even better design that I had Come up with. I was very amazed at their creativity and detail to art. The next day the workers came by early as promised and set everything up super fast without any hassle or needing any help from me. They had a ton of different props and their photo quality was awesome. They were very professional and nice enough to send me an email containing all of the pictures taken for me to download and send to anyone that might've wanted copies. I highly recommend anyone looking to rent a Photobooth to choose SmileHi for any occasion. 15/10 would rent again. More...

Working through the details prior to our event with Rylan was fantastic - they were really communicative and helpful.   They were also double booked the day of our event, so they sent a backup team - who were entirely adequate.  But for a photo booth, I would have loved to have seen more personality or enthusiasm.  (The type that Rylan showed the entire time we were working through the details)   Really, the guys that showed up just stood there and pushed a button - they weren't energetic, they didn't seem like they wanted to be there - so it was a little disappointing.  However, everyone really enjoyed it and I sure love looking at the photos.  It was worth the price that we paid, and I'd choose them again.  I'd just request Rylan and the "A Team" More...

SmileHi did my wedding last month and from start to finish these guys were awesome! Rylan and his wife were so pleasant to work with during this whole process and reasonable priced. We were so happy they were willing to work with us on such short notice, we had kind of a "wing it" wedding and decided in a week we'd get married. Rylan was so patient and kind in dealing with matters considering the time constraints. As soon as we contacted him and put a down payment Rylan was on it, sending me a forum to fill out about the type of layout and design we'd want and following up. Sometimes it'd take me a little while to get back to him since we were running around like chickens without a head yet never once did he sound irritated. Having a simple wedding with only a handful of friends and family, SmileHi Photobooth was the perfect touch. They kept our guests busy and gave us a nice memorabilia of all the pictures our loved ones took that night in a book with messages from them. Another plus was that I had won a floral backdrop from embellish hawaii so with their teamwork our set up was amazing! Rylan from SmileHi was a pleasure to work with! From the beginning he was very attentive and showed us genuine care when helping us decide on the final details for our photobooth. I found SmileHi on yelp and tend to gravitate toward working with small businesses owners since you most likely with work directly with them. Rylan was very accommodating and his wife created the perfect design graphic for our wedding. It was simple and elegant, exactly what we were looking for. We brought some props, but they also provided a ton more! Our guest had a lot of fun :] The SmileHi team helping at the wedding were also super helpful and patient with our guest. Our photos turned out great and were able to share them facebook, big plus! Rylan even took the extra time to reorientate the FB photos even after our wedding since we requested the two strips style. Rylan is great in communicating about what Smilehi Photobooth offers and every thing that they can do to make our events possible. Their prices are reasonable as well. Steph, on the other hand, she is very talented in her graphic design. You can give them a picture and idea of how you would like your pictures to look like, and Steph will create something amazing for you!The whole staff of Smilehi Photobooth are very fun and great to work with!
