Jerri has been working with our pups for two years now and I can’t say enough about the professionalism, care, and compassion she has displayed when working with all three of our dogs. She comes to our house to pick them when we board them and every time they come back worn out from socializing and playing with other dogs. We have two shitzhus that we rescued two years ago and Marley was afraid of her own shadow and everything else that moved until Jerri started working with her. She now plays with the other dogs and Jerri has helped her come out of her shell. She gains more and more confidence everytime she comes home from Smarty Paws. In fact, Jerri cares so much about the dogs she works with that when Marley ran off this summer during a thunder storm, Jerri came over multiple times to help us look and was there at 5am to canvas the neighborhood on the morning we found her. SmartyPaws is under new ownership now. Trainer/owner Jerri Keller is the real deal when it comes to understanding and dealing with animals and their behaviors. Smarty Paws is a wonderful place to train. Sylvia uses all positive methods, the dogs love her, and she is really committed to helping her students. At Smarty Paws, you can get involved in so many different activities that are fun for you and your dog. Sylvia has taught us there is a better way to train your dog than using traditional methods such as prong or choke collars. This training facility has the best positive based training methods in the area! They offer a variety of classes/training for every experience level. My dog and I have a great time learning with the trainers and we both look forward to our training day each week, sometimes we are enrolled in 2 classes a week. Trainer Sylvia really cares about helping people and their dogs. She is rescue friendly and has helped me with my foster dogs. Love this place! More...
