My family and I absolutely love this place! The atmosphere and the sweets are awesome! There is always a large variety of flavors (simple and creative); get there early they sell quick! We've been coming since moving in 2015 commuting 35 minutes and even more frequent since moving closer to the area! Today we met the owner Rebekah and she was the most kind and down to earth person! Her personality, passion, and kindness is definitely reflected in the treats she make and the customer service provided each time we go! My kids and I love this place! It's always a delicious treat to come here. I've ordered mini cupcakes for 2 birthdays now, and on a whim this evening, we decided to get a cupcake for my dad for his 71st birthday. They didn't have exactly what we wanted, but the wonderful employee said she would make us a fresh cupcake exactly the way we wanted it. Smallcakes is nothing short of 10 star worthy! I LOVE this place, and I adore the owner! She has the biggest heart, always doing such special things like making customized cupcakes for kids when they are in the hospital, and welcoming my poor sick dog (yes they are dog friendly) to give her a special day shortly before she passed away. . I have her picture by the pink couch and she always loved her pupcakes! I make special orders all the time, from birthday cakes, to customized dozens... every order is taken and made with such enthusiasm and care! Every time I have an out of town guest, I bring them in for a delicious treat and they always ask how they can take some home on the plane! Smallcakes is such a joyful experience every time, you leave there feeling happy.. okay maybe the sugar helps some ;) but you have to check them out... and bring your dog... they love dogs!!! Amazing doesn't even remotely explain this place. Always a great experience - love trying the new flavors, everyone is always so great to chat with and I LOVE that close to closing the cupcakes are close to gone! Ordered for a baby shower a while back and did some Gluten free for guests with allergy. Everyone, including gluten free guests loved them. They also mentioned that the taste of the gluten free and texture was better than they ever had. Came back for mother's day cupcakes to share with family a few weeks later, YUM! Don't ever order a special cake from small cakes for your wife or girlfriend and expect to have it ready for pick up on her birthday or an order written up at all for this matter, yet be charged for it. Worst customer service ever at this place instead offering nothing but some dumb cupcakes to replace the custom flavor made cake that you order 4 days in advance... Used to be a great place buying cupcakes and cakes almost every week, won't be anymore.... They don't even care that they apparently "misplaced the order" yet they get their money for it...

So just an update to this issue, got a call from the owner apologizing for the manager's lack of customer service or care for making up for her own mistakes. I really do appreciate the care and it's awesome to now know the owner at both the castle rock and lone tree locations really does care about her customers especially loyal ones. The owner went way out of her way "while on vacation might I add" and above and beyond what we'd expected to be a "fix", over delivering in both me and my wife's book. We've been reassured what we thought was the best run company ever. Just to top it off an owner that while owning two stores and busting her butt daily can still keep in touch with the small things that make a company great!!!

These cupcakes are delicious. I usually stop by in the middle of the day and they have many in stock and lots of different flavors: Red Velvet, Boston Creme Pie, Coconut, Salted Caramel, Wedding Cake, Lemon Supreme and many more. They’re not cheap; 4 cost me $16 tax included but they are worth it. Cute decor with a pink couch and two kid-sized swings hanging from the ceiling.
