We called Skymoving office to check whether we can get help from them in moving our household items from Northridge to Porter Ranch on Thursday. The girl who answered the phone was very accommodative and and she informed that since it's going be 4 bedroom house it would be better we do the move on Friday since Thursday available time is in the evening but on Friday they can start early in the morning had finish the job. I agreed for her suggestion and Friday early morning crew of 4 came on time with a terrific lead. We had a issue in access to the pickup location but the crew was very friendly and hardworking (I am really sorry guys I can't remember your names! I am very poor in that if the administrators can put those guys names I would be very grateful since it would be real recognition for the marvelous job they did). That team worked really hard and they just did what we asked them to do! At the drop off location they had to move furniture several times from room to room since we had changed of heart . No complaints what so ever from the crew. They complete the move in 8 hrs. That dismantling furniture from 4 rooms bringing them to downstairs and fixing all of them at in 4 rooms at our new house. These guys did a great job with my heavy stuff! I only needed a few heavy things moved (like a refrigerator, sofa, big display case, etc). They showed up on time, were helpful and friendly, and were done on-time. While the crew was kind and courteous, they didn't seem to know what they were doing. Â They had a hard time organizing the truck and couldn't manage to fit all our stuff in (even though we did this same move 1 year ago and had plenty of room in the truck). Â They didn't have the tools they needed and kept asking us for tools, which were of course packed away and inaccessible. Â They didn't properly prioritize reassembly and this move has taken several hours longer than it should have - which of course leads to us having to pay even more. I can't begin to say how thankful we are to Sky moving! We had to move on short notice and we had to get rid of extra large pieces of furniture. Sky furniture was able to stop at salvation army and unload the furniture for us. Our movers we very honest Isaiah found money and returned it to us . Jaid was so helpful and  such a great leader!  He was able to coordinate well. Robert so efficient. The whole team worked well together. We had some heavy pieces and pieces that needed to be built and rebuilt and they did it with ease. They were efficient and didn't take advantage of being on an hourly rate. They were scheduled to arrive between 9a-930a. They finally arrived at 11:00a. Which made the parking very difficult as there's major construction on a 1 way street and parking on one side. elonzo and ruben were the ones that arrived early in the morning. They got straight to work and packed allOur miscellaneous items. They had all the boxes for clothes that you could just easily remove from your closet and hang inside their box, no folding needed. And it made it easy to remove and place in our new closets. I have never used a moving company before. So I was a little apprehensive and didn't know what to expect. Sky Moving is amazing! I was so impressed with the care they took with all of my belongings. They wrapped everything with so much care and attention to detail. They were prompt - showing up exactly on time. They came straight to my destination with no stops. So I never felt like my belongings were out of my control. The three guys were working so hard! They did not stop moving! I had a large move with lots of furniture across Los Angeles and Sky Moving showed up early. I requested four guys and man did they hustle. They did the work of 10 guys without complaining. To complicate things I had to move furniture to LA sanitation and to public storage. I was also remodeling the new home and had to have them set the furniture in specific locations. Having used a different moving service before, and now that I can compare the two... I will be using Sky Moving in the future! Â I have to say this moving company is the best and I do recommend then because they really made the moving experience quick and enjoyable.I called and requested the quote, Jose answered all of my questions quickly and precisely and more thoroughly than other companies.I am very satisfied with how professional, friendly and reliable they are. They treated all my belongings very carefully and they also wrapped everything professionally, which was a relief considering they moved a lot of expensive items like electronic, furniture, appliances and clothing's. Just a short note, but I used these guys yesterday and they were not only nice and professional, but not nearly as expensive as I'd thought PLUS they were able to fit me in last minute (last minute being quite literally LAST MINUTE)! If it comes down to it and I have to move again, I will definitely give these guys first dibs on my business. They didnt pad the clock, which in my experience with the LA area would be easy to do, and were very, very honest. Sky Moving did an excellent job on my 2 bedroom apartment apartment move. I live on a busy street and was a bit nervous on how they would park their truck and transport my furniture but I could tell they knew exactly what they were doing. The elevators unfortunately were not working on the day of the move but the movers were experienced with these types of situations and thank goodness that didn't slow them down. Their packing rates were by far the best I received and my furniture was very well protected for the trip. My wife and I contacted Sky Moving and they're staff was prompt, polite and easy to work with. I received a quote and confirmation promptly after I filled out their forms and made the calls, which was wonderful. On moving day, I received a call 30 min before arrival which was awesome and allowed me to let them in and prepare last minute stuff. The team was amazing. What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
The Coronavirus has thrown us all for a loop, fortunately, we are relentless and so are you; life must move on. As so, in consideration of your safety and that of our crew’s, our crew is instructed to follow suggested PPE protocol in accordance with CDC guidelines including:
• Wearing face coverings/masks and gloves as necessary and in the presence of others.
• Limiting mover and client interaction by having ONLY the foreman of our crew interact with you, our client, the day of each move when necessary.
• Wiping all equipment in our trucks (dollies, 4 wheelers, etc.) with an EPA certified disinfectant wipe after each move.
Administratively, we are following the following additional precautions including:
• Vetting for potentially sick workers the morning of each move, and dismissing those who may be sick.
