We just got our newborn photos back and they are FANTASTIC!! The process of getting the pictures was definitely different, but in a very good way. When we first got to the studio Jessey told us a bit about how the session would go: I'll take pictures of Elliot, then typically in the middle I will get some family pictures. my response: Okay. Do you want me to get him out? Jessey: No, I'll get him out after I get all set up. We then picked out the wraps/ props and then we (my husband, other two kids and myself) just left and left Elliot in the picture room. At first I thought this was a bit odd, but every time we looked in through the window Elliot was totally asleep and happy. Jessey was seriously MAGICAL!! These photographers were recommended to me from a friend of mine and we are definitely pleased with the work they did on the pictures for my daughters senior photos. The photos were GORGEOUS. The area that the photographer recommended for her photos was PERFECT. He definitely does an amazing job. Our photographer was super nice, very respectful, punctual, and very helpful throughout the whole shoot. We are actually booking our family photos with them too. We had a little impromptu photo session with Joel. My husband and I were walking around viewing the beautiful fall foliage and laughing and taking pictures with our almost two year old. Joel was finishing up with a client and so kindly offered to take some shots of my family - as the main photographer in my family I jumped at the opportunity to get the three of us together in some fall shots!! He gave us his card no strings attached - just super polite and kind. Needless to say, the photos came out absolutely beautiful!! I would absolutely recommend Skiddlydoo to anyone looking for some great quality photos. I can tell they really care about providing their clients with their best work - I overheard a conversation between Joel and the family he was working for right before we met him, and as they thanked him for his time they also appreciated his knowledge and advice of the environment he recommended for their photo shoot (which I have to agree - GREAT choice for fall colors). I'm always on the hunt for new photographers just so I can create different looks in the family photos we take year after year. I somehow stumbled across Joel's page, and am extremely glad I did. Joel was really easy to work with and everything during our session felt very natural and not posed/forced. Our girls (who are not always the easiest to work with) cooperated as best as they could, and Joel was able to capture exactly who they were within our photos. We were one of the lucky people to win a photo shoot from a FB giveaway. We were literally blown away. There were six of us in our family photo and during the shoot Joel was so relaxed and made all of us feel completely at ease. It was a great casual setting and felt like we were just hanging out on a Sunday. Then we saw the pics, the same evening they were taken, and the surroundings came to life!! The way every element around us was captured was absolutely breathtaking!! Joel’s eye for the surroundings was amazing. Truly ART!! Definitely our new go to guy! My boyfriend and I took the kids to have our family picture session and he’s not one to like taking pictures, but he enjoyed it. The kids had and I had a blast as well. Joel is awesome to work with. We decided last minute to do a photo shoot with just the three of us before we became a family of four. He was flexible to change our photo shoot due to high winds. My son got his senior photos done today by Joel. I can't wait to see the finished product but I can already tell that we will be very happy. My kid is so quiet and reserved and Joel made him feel so at ease and was able to get him to smile and pose easily. Joel is very nice and personable.
