Sitting Pretty Beauty Lounge

Having Sitting Pretty Beauty Lounge come for the day of my wedding was an absolute dream come true! Clarise and Lana are such a talented hair stylists and make-up artists and listened to all the ideas of the bridesmaids for their hair/ make-up ideas for the day of the wedding! The team arrived on time to La Quinta Resort, where we had a bridal suite for wedding day prep. They both were prepared with all hair and make-up tools. I also, want to share that both Clarise and Lana, are such wonderful stylists in that they are so warm, caring, and able to also listen to their clients needs. They created a great atmosphere for the wedding morning! Clarise listened to my hair ideas as the bride and was able to make my romantic half up and down style a reality.

The trial with Clarise and Lana went very smoothly and all my pre-wedding jitters were at ease, since they are such an amazing professional team. The team communicated with me through email and phone, and answered any of my questions before my wedding. The trial went seamlessly and I loved that Clarise and Lana took such great care to ask me my ideas before they started the trial for the day. I was blown out of the water by the look! I was very pleased with Lana's, attention to detail. I have a nut allergy, and Lana went above an beyond to make sure all the make-up was nut free I was using for the big wedding day!

I truly look back at all my wedding photos and believe I look like my most beautiful version of myself, thank you to the GREAT team!

Overall, I am trilled to say that I would highly recommend Sitting Pretty Beauty Lounge for a bride and wedding party. I am looking forward in the future to hopefully visit again and have Clarise and Lana possibly do my make-up for Coachella some day! I would definitely recommend hiring the amazing team!

Clarise, Lidia, and Lana did an amazing job on my wedding day. Clarise and Lidia were so much fun when we had our trial day, then Clarise and I got to hang out again when she did a blow out for me the day before my wedding. Finally, the Sitting Pretty team made me and my ladies feel so special on the day of my wedding. I looked fabulous in all my wedding photos and I got so many compliments! Lana was the makeup artist at my wedding & my makeup was PERFECT! I had to come on here to give her a 5 star review! She was very attentive to my wants, and over delivered by bringing the most professional quality makeup brands, setting up way ahead of me arriving to the venue. I wanted to look like an enhanced version of my daily self for my wedding - and she did exactly that! She made my makeup look so elegant & natural.
I’ve been married 6 months now, and even looking back on my photos, I’m so impressed that my makeup stayed on through all the tears & even with it snowing outside while our pictures were being taken!

I worked with Clarise & Lidia from Sitting Pretty and was so impressed. Clarise did my hair for my wedding & Lidia did my makeup, both turned out amazing. They were so helpful throughout the whole process and made me feel at ease the whole time. Palm Springs was a destination spot for me so I was unable to do a trial session but they day of my wedding I was not worried! I had a wedding to attend in the Palm Springs area and desperately needed someone to help me with my hair! I am horrible at curling and styling my own hair. I looked on yelp to see if there were any blow dry and style services available and found Sitting Pretty! Booking an appointment was super easy; I was able to do so online. The location was so easy to find. I showed them a picture of what I wanted my hair to look like and Clarise styled it exactly how I wanted! I couldn't have been happier with how it turned out! Clarise was literally AMAZING and a total God send!
My husband and I wanted to get married at 9am early morning in Joshua Tree, so you can imagine what time a Bride would have to start getting ready. ..Clarise was there bright eyed and ready at 4am! She did my hair and my mother's and sisters! While her wonderful makeup artists did our makeup! Her team and her did wonders, with a call time, schedule for who goes first with hair and then rotating to makeup, and she even stayed till the last second to help put my flower crown on for the photographer!
She's incredible and so knowledgeable. Her calmness and passion for what she does totally set me at ease! I was cool as a cucumber knowing she had it all together!

If I could get Clarise 1000 stars I would, because she is the BEST! I have been going to Clarise for the past two years, for the most amazing blo dries and styles! I've been having my hair done by Clarise Marie for a few years now.. My mom referred her to me. She had been getting her hair dyed and cut from her for years just out of her house. I figured why not? Some places in the desert are so overpriced and out of touch with current styles that it wasn't gonna hurt to try something new. Well I absolutely loved her! She took me from brown to blonde, from blonde to brown and long to short, etc.. We've done it all. Every time I love my cut and color. I even had her color and cut and style my hair for my wedding! That's Trust  Clarise also does the best blowdrys.. She accomplishes the sheen straight look I like without picking up a flat iron. Which to almost every other hair stylist is impossible. Now she's been taking me at this beautiful salon in La Quinta. I love it! I just have to hope she never moves! Oh and she does organic hair treatments.... Make sure to ask her about them bc it truly has kept my hair strong and shiny without all those added nastys More...
