One of the best Indian restaurant you can find in bham. I live in Troy and I have been to all the Indian restaurants in Dothan and Montgomery and still I say sitar has the most authentic Indian taste and also one one of the most friendly service

This was pur first time there and was not sure what was going on. We got seated right away and did not see anybody after that. Went up to the lady behind the counter and asked for menus and right away she told me it would take 30 minutes or so for food. Had to ask about everything. We all ate the buffet and it was really good. A waiter came around every once in awhile to fill glasses. When we were done and was waiting for a check and nobody came. Went back up to the counter and told the lady what I ate and paid her.. Seems they need to be a little better organized. Will go back because of the food and since I know what to expect in service.
