Obedience Training
Sit, Stay, Home uses the Least Intrusive Minimally Aversive framework, or LIMA, for training and behavior modification. This approach focuses on positive reinforcement where the dog is rewarded for exhibiting the behavior that has been asked of them. We are committed to a Fear Free approach to dog training and behavior modification. Consistent with the LIMA strategy and Fear Free approach, we do not use or recommend tools or methods that produce fear in the dog.
Behavior Modification
The cornerstone of behavior modification is having a detailed, specific, and actionable plan designed to address and modify specific behavioral issues exhibited by a dog. A Sit, Stay, Home behavior specialist will work with you to create a plan that is achievable and will be with you every step of the way, providing support and guidance toward reaching your goals.
