Sit Means Sit Dog Training Central Texas is an amazing company where your dog will be trained by knowledgeable and professional dog trainers. I was astonished after just one week of boarding with our trainer Kabri, Maizie, our rambunctious four month old Yellow Lab was not only sitting on her “place” but she was staying on it until we called her off of it. I am so impressed with Sit Means Sit. After just a few training sessions my German Shepherd is a different dog. Robin did an excellent job with the 1:1 training the first week he started. She also was helpful on ideas about how to care for Maverick since I was only use to small dogs. I wish I could give more stars. On a scale of 1 to 10, they are above a 10. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. More...

Sit Means Sit has been a great experience for my husband and I. We first started our blue pit for behavior issues. Blue went for a board and train very quickly after the first meeting and Robin updated us every night with his progress, which personally I loved. When he got home we got to work with him and see how much he had progressed which was very nice because we felt we were involved with the training. Immediately after we saw how much basic manners he learned in just one board and train(3 days) we signed our other pit up, even though she didn't have any issues we thought it would be great for her to really just learn how to walk on a leash. Its been 6 months in group classes and we love the people in class as well as Robin and Taylor. Not to mention our dogs are completely different dogs and we are very comfortable taking them in public now. I highly recommend Sit Means Sit and all their hardworking trainers!p.s this photo would not have been possible without their training More...

Not only did my rescue, Tech (a lab mix), and I benefit from Sit Means Sit; while I was dogsitting my son's rescue, Jade (a mastiff mix), I took advantage of the training while my son played football for UCLA. Sarah's one-on-one training got us started, and the classes were outstanding. Tech zoomed through beginners, onto intermediate. Jade took a little longer in beginner with her somewhat defiant, "I'm tired" attitude. Sarah, Taylor, Robin and Kabri are wonderful, and really take the time to target the behaviors and needs of each dog and owner. I love that I can take two big dogs out and let them go off leash when we go to open fields and on hikes around the lake. No more tugging on leashes, or taking off while I lock the front door. I love how happy they get when they know it is walk and run time! Thanks, Sit Means Sit! More...

We love Sit Means Sit! I have a three legged girl I rescued from The Humane Society. She had very, very sever anxiety and zero confidence. We did six months of training and by month two she was a completely different dog. She started out being afraid of even me and my husband, now she’ll greet complete strangers. All the trainers are amazing and they take pride in what they’re doing. I now have a second dog enrolled in classes it’s only class #3 he’s doing amazing! More...

Dash will be a work in progress her whole life. However, working with Sarah for in home boarding and training has helped put in place a foundation for Dash to move past being afraid of new people and new situations. We've just improved to doing some walking off leash with the ecollar which is amazing. Dash will still get spooked or afraid of new situations, but now we are able to work with her to control her versus having her run away and hide. We look forward to seeing continued improvements. UPDATE - 3/6/18We are still attending group classes with Sit Means Sit. It continues to be a great experience. Our dog, Logan, is learning so many new commands. They have a great program set up to start you off and then work you through "beginner" classes, and onto intermediate and advanced. At the end of each class they have a Test for you and your dog to pass. It is great motivation to continue to improve. Logan has made it all the way into advanced classes and is now looking forward to all the agility, and tricks classes they have go offer. This program has truly been a blessing and great bonding experience for us with our dog. We are so excited to have a fun loving, but also disciplined dog in the house. We would still highly recommend anyone who is looking to become a responsible pet owner and give their dog purpose and drive.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------What attracted us to Sit Means Sit Central Texas was the concept of being involved in training your own dog with the guidance of professional trainers, not just shipping them off somewhere for a month and having no idea how to handle them when they get home.Since we have started I can't say enough good things about the staff. The entire staff at Sit Means Sit Central Texas is incredible. We started Logan off in the 3 Day Board and Train with Robin. It was the first time Logan was away from us overnight and Robin was awesome. She sent multiple pictures, videos, and updates every day she was away from us.We have now been going to the group classes both in Waco and Belton for about a month and the progress Logan has made is incredible. It is truly a process but what we love most is how the staff works just as hard at training you, the owner, as they do the dogs. It makes you feel confident going home and continuing to train. I would recommend Sit Means Sit Central Texas to any dog owners in the area who are looking for a fun & hands-on way to train your dog. More...
