My wife and I enjoy this establishment. The atmosphere is nice. They also have a happy hour that has a good deal on there house wine(which is decent. ) Their app choices are nice, but my wife and I love the Asian Seared Tuna. We share the full order. You can have them cook it to your preference of doneness, but since it's a high quality sashimi grade tuna they use, we order it seared rare. Outstanding! Melts in your mouth. Stopped here on my way home from work for a quick GNO. Started off with the red Sangria, tasted a little on the strong side but it didn't stop me from ordering a second. I ordered the beggars pouches for a starter and they were tasty little purses filled with pear & Gouda topped with tomatoes, capers, pecans sautéed in brown butter.. quite yummy. I also shared the everything pretzel with cheese sauce which was served warm with a side of cheese dipping sauce. I was pleasantly surprised that the "everything " was not so overwhelming and quite delicious when dipped into the cheese sauce. I then tried the Brussel Sprouts which were sliced finely and tossed with bacon, truffle aioli and shaved Parmesan... if you like Brussels you will like these but they are very light not the typical meaty brussel sprout. HIDDEN GEM!!!!!!This is one of my favorite places so far, the food was amazing with a lot of flavor.. very carefully thought out and made with love. The staff was very very welcoming and made us feel part of the community. I would highly recommend and will be coming again :)Compliments to the owner who turned out to be our server as well, I really appreciate a hard working person who cares for their establishment. My husband and I love this little gem. The seating is limited so if you go on a busy night the wait can be long, or you'll sit outside. But it's worth the wait! Just enough drink options for me on the wine menu, and the food menu isn't overly long. Just enough options to serve anyone, and everything is always fresh and cooked perfectly. Sip 85 was empty upon entering, but soon filled up with regulars that the server and bartender knew by name and greeted with hugs. Atmosphere : Quaint dining area featuring a modern twist on old world ambiance. Could see how it could be loud on a busy Friday or Saturday night, but if you want peace and quiet on a weekend night then stay home.Bartender: Anthony was very informative, warm and receptive with in depth knowledge of wines and menu. We were informed of their Tuesday night wine special, a $10 discount off bottles. He knew when to politely walk away from our conversation to tend to other guests. He told us he had worked there over 3 years which shows they the Owner/Management takes care of their employees.Food: Caprese salad with ripe tomatoes and fresh mozzarella cheese topped with fresh basil and balsamic reduction. Served with small side of mixed greens with shaved parmesan cheese adding value where one usually only gets the tomatoes and mozzarella.Filet tips on a skewer were perfectly prepared medium served with garlic butter and au poivre on side per my request because i had to try both. The garlic butter was obviously tasty, but the au poivre was perfectly peppery and buttery, I could just drink that stuff! Seared Ahi Tuna was perfectly rare (how it should be) accompanied by Asian slaw with Ponzu sauce, of which we ordered the half portion. We soon regretted not ordering the whole portion because it was so delicious!Finished with a slice of Salted Carmel cheesecake topped with chocolate candied bacon and took home a slice of pecan pie and vanilla ice cream. Great local hang out! It’s really the perfect place to grab a drink with a Friend or just sit at the bar with a glass of wine or an ice cold beer and watch their giant TVS. After a long day of driving, we needed some yummy comfort food. Our server was was happy to answer some questions about the menu. ie- was the pappadelle pasta fresh- yes and made in-house also the meatball were light and fluffy. Excellent! We were a group 4 and it was our first time and very well worth it. John, our server, was friendly, knowledgeable and available when we needed him. So nice to have great service. This is in the parking lot of Starbucks. Nice small quaint spot. We were greeted by the general manager Sean Dolan. For the crowd I was with Sean kept a tone and well adjusted quickly (we are a sarcastic crew and lots of laughter). He was asked about the menu and replied with great knowledge. Very accommodating to changes that needed to be met by dietary. We offered and checked in visually to the decor. It has a dark romantic feel very laid back and semi chic. This would be a great spot to turn into for a great night out or romantic date night ( ”Ladies the Prosecco split is a go to”). The prices were reasonable and the portion size is awesome. I tried a few dishes. The ”Beggar Pouches” was a nice choice ( note to chef a little lighter on the amount of brown butter it was a tad overwhelming) the taste was amazing and paired with a great wine is a great conversation starter. Probably the first time I had Parmesan Truffle fries that we're cooked right and the amount just right. Behind us was an enclosed wine rack and the choices were pretty delicious. This will definitely be a place to go back to. I admire a staff that is not only accomadating but keeps a well pace on checking on their customers. They were never without an eye on our table. Three of us went to Sip85,  walked in the front door and was happily greeted by Thomas. Which turned out to be our server.  What a great guy.  No really a great guy...   He attended to us & treated us so nicely, I thought he was the owner.  He treats his profession as if he were the owner.  A+++++++++++ for Thomas!!Ok,  get there for the happiest - happy hour, that is really three hours, 4 to 7.  Winner!!! We had the filet, short rib meat balls, size of baseballs, & Cajun mahi-mahi, Oh had the appetizer BBQ pork wing over cheese grits,  omg.
