Simply the best place in West Point! It's small but busy; you may have to get there early to get a good table, if a reservation is not made beforehand.
Very good cocktails and very good plates. It is a sit-down restaurant, so if you are in a hurry go to McDonalds.
You get excellent service for their cost: good service, owners attention, good food and good cocktails. The venue is not formal, but rather more in line with business casual or evening wear, so appropriate out wear is advised. This is a great place for a date or an evening out with friends or colleagues, so it may not be great for families with young children.
The ambiance, hospitality, live music with Mr. David Jones, the tasteful decor, friendly staff make it my new favorite restaurant in the area.

Susie and I visited Sip Cafe and Wine Room last night and were blown away. I had the ribeye and it was perfect and Susie had the salmon and it was equally as good. The crab cake appetizer was probably the best I’ve ever had. Great atmosphere with live music and the service was spot on. What a amazing establishment right here in our gem of a city West Point. I cannot even begin to tell you how exciting I am to have something like this here. Not only is the food beautiful, it’s absolutely delicious! The establishment is tastefully decorated and makes you think that you are somewhere else. You can dress up and have the feel as if you are in a big city (without going to the big city) or you can dress down, because the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and welcoming to all.
