This review is long over due. Simply Smoked helped me out with an event in November. I own a catering company but we don't smoke meat. One of my favorite, and best, clients wanted a Texas BBQ for some out of town guests. I did all the sides, desserts & Simply Smoked supplied the star of the show. It was fabulous! My client couldn't have been happier & neither could I. The owner, Mark, went way above & beyond. I am very protective of my reputation & he made us all look wonderful! This has become one of my top favorite bbq spots in the area. The brisket is unreal. It's unassuming but packed with flavor, and the sandwich hit the spot. The blue cheese coleslaw seemed interesting, and was better than I could have imagined. Would def recommend and will come back. More...

I've used Simply Smoked BBQ for two recent out of town events I've hosted in Austin and they continue to impress. Coming from Dallas and knowing I have other details to focus on- it's such a relief to know I can count on Mark and Nicole to consistently deliver delicious food on time and at the contracted upon price.

Simply put, Simply Smoked is amazing! The brisket is one you would surely stand in line for for hours. The brisket is moist, seasoned, and smoked just right; it practically melts in your mouth. I would put it up against any brisket around. The pulled pork is something straight out of Carolina pig country. It is so delicious! Whether on or off a bun, with or with out the homemade sauce, you can't beat this pork masterpiece. All of Simply Smoked meats are superb. And don't forget about those sides. What a great complement to the meats they are serving up. Top it all off with unparalleled customer focus and a menu that they customize for you... you would be silly to have your party catered by someone else. Awesome BBQ and service! They catered a party for me and everyone loved it. The brisket is delicious (the best I've had) and the sides are yummy too. I really liked the mustard sauce and the BBQ sauce. Everything was brought in for the party so we didn't have to think about anything. The Simply Smoked caterers were really friendly. This is BBQ that will make you pity vegans and the life they lead. Simply Smoked catered a football watching party I attended, and let me tell ya, IT. WAS. AMAZING. The brisket was moist and tender, and full of flavor (no BBQ sauce required, the way Texans intended it!) I legitimately ate myself into what can only be described as a plane between "my pants no longer fit" and "dear god what have I done". WORTH IT. And while I'm not a chicken girl per say, this went above and beyond my expectations. It was juicy and flavorful. The sides were amazing, too. (I'm a sucker for mac n' cheese). When he showed up with the food, I was thinking "there's no way we're going to eat all of this". Yeah, I was way wrong. It was all snatched up in a matter of an hour. No small feat.
