I’m so happy we were able to find Sarah and Melanie! They were extremely flexible with meeting us at our venue ahead of time to get ideas for the big day! They stayed in contact and were very attentive to the pictures that were important for us to get. When the big day came there professionalism came through and they battled the heat and traffic to get the shots they thought were perfect. Melanie and Sarah were amazing to have as photographers on our wedding day! They met with us in advance to see the layout of the building and the outdoor ceremony area.
They even went down to the park across the street with us to see about photo opportunities there (even though it involved some exploring!). They were always willing to answer all of our questions by email or phone.
The day of the wedding, they arrived over an hour early to get the first look and wedding party photos before the ceremony and reception. They worked with our list of family photos throughout cocktail hour, and captured so many great moments during the reception. Despite neither of us being particularly "photogenic", we felt at ease with Melanie and Sarah and were able to feel like and be ourselves.
We have so many photos and memories of our wedding day and we couldn't ask for anything more. I would highly recommend Simplicity Photography!

Melanie and Sarah’s photographs are stunning! I found them online 2 weeks before our elopement and right from the first email they were friendly, flexible and great to work with.
To make sure they understood our expectations and what we needed they set up a phone call to discuss the details of the shoot. They had researched where we were staying to become familiar with the grounds and ensure we were going to get the pictures we wanted. Although we were not close to where they are based in Catskill, NY, they were willing to travel about an hour to us.
On the day of the elopement we were running a little late but they were more than flexible with adjusting the time of the shoot, which demonstrates how great they are to work with. We had a meet and greet before the ceremony and I knew I had made the right decision; they were so easygoing and made us feel relaxed on our big day.
They’re very professional and were great at getting the right angels and lighting to make us look our best! During the shoot I was curious to see how some of the poses turned out and they were more than happy to show us a quick preview on their camera. When they sent us our 24-hour ‘sneak peak’ I could not stop looking at them, I can’t believe how perfect they are!
I can't thank Sarah and Melanie enough and would highly recommend them. I don't think you will find a better team close to Albany or elsewhere for that matter!
