I was part of a wedding party where the bride hired Simple Beauty Artistry. Mayra and her team were absolutely amazing! The bride was gorgeous but so were all of us bridesmaids. I never felt rushed, my hair was perfect, and they listened to what I wanted in terms of my make up. She also put on some lashes that made my eyes look phenomenal! Mayra is an extremely talented MUA! She did my hair and make-up for my engagement shoot and I was beyond pleased with the end result. I showed her a picture of how I wanted my hair and she delivered. Where can I begin with how amazing Mayra was from the very first time we met for a consultation. She is so professional in every aspect, artist at her craft, and an awesome down to earth person at that. Any questions or concerns that I had along the way she was always willing to help or fix anything I was worried about. I used her for my engagement pictures and the makeup and hair looked flawless and even after the fact that there were some tweaks that I wanted to changed to lean towards my style, Mayra was quick to arrange another makeup trial before my wedding and we got down to the final idea that I wanted. From advice of my insane, stressful wedding bride moments to getting my extensions I needed. Mayra was 100% in my corner, the day of her and her other two stylists got myself, two mothers, my daughter, sister in law, and 6 bridesmaids done on time and kept everyone on track. Everyone had different details in Hair and makeup but the end results my girls looked stunning! And for me, it was the prettiest and special I have ever felt in my life. This is a big day, your wedding day! I got so many compliments about my hair and makeup the entire night as well as looking great until the party was over! Mayra is an amazing makeup artist, she's on time, dependable, and caring about what you want your makeup/hair/look to project on your special day. She has done my makeup and hair twice, for my sisters wedding and then for mine as well.. She has never disappointed us at all, she did a group of 10-12 women just in time to get us in for my 2 pm ceremony and still had time to spare. She has worked through full on labor a few years ago and got us looking amazing for the wedding. I hired Mayra for hair and makeup on my wedding day, and she was phenomenal! She was quick to respond to all my questions and concerns before the big day, and was right on time the day of. I opted out of a trial because I don't live in Houston, but had my wedding there, so I texted her pictures,a week before, of how I wanted everything done, and it turned out even better than I imagined. Mayra was so very amazing! She did my hair/make up for my engagement session, bridal session and my wedding. I also used her services for my pre-wedding tan. It was such a great experience having her for all events. She does flawless work and makes sure you leave looking stunning. She made me feel like a top priority and my bridal party were very pleased with her team. We had both bridesmaids as well as mothers getting hair/makeup. Her team was able to make everyone feel beautiful and comfortable on both end of the spectrum. Mayra listened to my vision for my look for all my events and made them a reality. I would also like to add that with something as important as your wedding day hair/makeup you need to find someone you really can trust. Mayra not only made sure I was happy with my look but also followed us to the church when we realized my veil was 45 mins away at my house (1 hr before ceremony time). She did not miss a beat and was helping us with pre-ceremony tips before the veil was delivered. She placed the veil and gave instructions on how to take it out afterwards. Not too many artist will go above and beyond for their clients like that (and help them not to panic). The was a lifesaver on my wedding day and I will be using her from now on for any event I need to glam up for. We all looked and felt so very beautiful on my wedding day thanks to Mayra and her team.
