What makes a great website?
Every website is different of course, but for me the most important aspect is that we put the reader first. Knowing who your audience will be and also keeping in mind what platform they will be viewing your content on the most will ultimately translate into the best website for your business.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I always start with the 'why'. Understanding why they are creating a site is the first thing to know and what their purpose for the site will be, as this influences the way I will approach the design with the client.
Some of my initial questions will help me understand if you are planning to sell products or services directly from your site or if it will be used for information. Knowing how you plan to make updates to your site on a regular basis is also important as there are different website platforms available that have different skill sets required for your team to make updates.
What do you love most about your job?
I love seeing a project come together from conception to reality. It is always fulfilling to hear a client say how much they love what the end result looks like.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I love the freedom that it allows and more importantly the ability to work with clients the way that I know will help them best.
