What do you love most about your job?
I love helping people help their dogs. Being a dog trainer allows me to combine my two passions together: compassion for people and dogs. I love problem solving and getting creative to effectively solve unwanted behaviors.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I knew from the time I was 5 years old that I wanted a career working with animals. When I got my dog, Frankie, she brought with her the world of dog training. I fell in love with the science, the action, the learning of it. And I wanted to bring that same joy to pet owners like me.
Why should our clients choose you?
I would consider myself a very patient person, and an ambitious person. My goal is to help dog owners understand the why behind what dogs do and why we do what we do to combat it. I tailor to clients who want to have a deeper understanding and relationship with their dogs.

I am able to travel within 30 minutes of Mechanicsville Virginia before adding traveling fees. I offer Virtual Lessons for those outside of that area. Virtual lessons are great for basic obedience, asking questions, and trouble shooting behaviors.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I wear a mask to every lesson and encourage clients to do so as well. All leashes or training tools are kept sanitized and are cleaned after each client use.
Puppy training
Raising a new puppy is like having a baby, exhausting and hard to figure out the “best” way to do something. I will help you prevent set your puppy up to prevent unwanted behaviors and build a relationship with your dog.
Private lessons
Private lessons are an hour, in home service where you can ask questions and get solutions. You get 1-on-1 time with a trainer who will help you problem solve unwanted behaviors.
Service Dog Training
Owner training a service dog can be daunting, but it doesn’t have to be. I will help you pick a breed that fits your lifestyle, find the perfect prospect, evaluate a dog you already have, build foundations, teach advanced obedience, and ultimately task train your dog to fit your needs.
Canine Good Citizen
I am a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and am qualified to conduct the following:

Virtual Lessons
Virtual lessons, like Private lessons, are an hour of 1-on-1 training in home, only through zoom. Virtual clients receive all the same treatment that in person clients do. Please note that there are some behaviors that are difficult to troubleshoot through virtual training that may require an in person trainer.
