About

I am an Interior Designer who studied in New York and then worked for over 4 years abroad in Denmark. There, I designed commercial spaces and exhibitions for some of the country's most notable luxury lifestyle brands, and also private residential projects around the US.

Sierra helped to design the most amazing space for me and the vision she proposed came together perfectly. She was confident in her work, quick to make decisions, and truly has a gift when it comes to transforming any space. A few years ago she helped me to furnish and decorate a modern loft apartment and most recently a light condo remodel. I couldn’t be more pleased with how the esthetic of my condo came together. Every time I walk into the main room, I feel a calming and comforting feeling. I highly recommend Sierra if you are looking to transform your space and be prepared for her to exceed your expectations with her stellar design sense. More...

Q&As

Each project receives a totally unique approach based on individual needs. I enjoy getting to know the client - the way the live and aspire to live, as well as the site - the space itself, the home's style / materiality, surrounding area, views and lighting. From there I'm able to construct an overall concept, that is the guide for the project, but I like to leave a bit of room for surprises - like stumbling upon an unexpected material, or artist, or piece of furniture that brings a bit of magic to the space.

Other things that are important to me while designing are environmental impact, honesty of materials, special details and craftsmanship.

Modern, Scandinavian, Minimalist, Eclectic, Global, Bohemian, Rustic, Rugged. I don't typically work with very traditional styles, though I do enjoy incorporating a few traditional pieces or details into a project.

That each project is new, like a puzzle to solve, and that I get to create beauty and purpose that lasts in someone's life.

It has always been a dream of mine, and even while working 9-5 I was always taking on freelance work. I just love the rewarding feeling of accomplishment with each project I complete.

In addition to having a really unique background and specialty knowledge as a designer I am equally balance in project management.

Yes, I can offer remote / e-design services. Please inquire as it will be a unique package for each individual project.

I socially distance in both my private and professional life, and minimize physical site visits to be only as necessary.
