Stunning! I recently went to Crystal Coop for a charity dinner event. It was my first time to the venue and I was blown away. The inside of the chic barn had white washed wooden wall, lights around the trusses, several crystal chandeliers, a fireplace and cute bar area. The property the barn sits on is large and spacious. I just recently visited The Crystal Coop while attending a baby shower. I was so impressed with this venue. I commute to Anderson for work, and I am continually impressed with all this city has to offer. The Crystal Coop is just another one of the city's gems. On 10/19/2018 I had the opportunity to DJ the wedding at the Crystal Coop. I have been to a lot of venues for weddings but this one is now one of my favorites. The room looks amazing, it is well set up for wedding receptions, they have a beautiful set up for outdoor weddings right behind the building. This set up really makes it easy for the Wedding/reception combo that many couples are choosing to have both at the same site. But to top it off, what really makes this place top notch are the owners! There are few owners that I have met that worked as hard as these two and really paid attention to the details to make the place look perfect. I have already recommended The Crystal Coop to one of my brides and plan to recommend to others. One other great fact, the location is great! Very easy to get to just off of 69! We hired Side street catering to cater our wedding, and we got so much more than a caterer. Cheryl and her whole team were amazing, in every step of the process. The planning was easy, fun, reasonable, and she was willing to be flexible to meet our recommendations. First, we had a tasting for the meals we chose and Cheryl met us at our home with the food, which was so convenient and kind of her to go out of her way to come to us. When I say we got more than a caterer, I felt like she was a co-planner for the wedding sometimes. She was willing to help out in any way possible. She took care of the linens, supplied bartenders, staff to help scoop ice cream for our guests, and more. She even let us borrow their ice cream freezer a few days before the wedding so we could store the ice cream which was shipped to our house. Cheryl drove 1.5 hours to the venue months in advance to meet us and to check out where her and her team could set up, etc. just to make sure they would have everything right. On the big day, their team helped us set up our tables (linens, centerpieces, lit candles, set plates and silverware, etc.) We received compliments about how kind and attentive the staff was from just about every guest at our wedding. They all truly went above and beyond. I am so incredibly thankful that Cheryl and her team were with us on our big day. We will always remember how at ease they made us feel during the reception. My fiance and I planned and set up everything for the wedding, so having this team there to support us allowed us to really relax and enjoy our reception. I almost forgot to mention how amazing the food was! We had the team grill on-site (which was our biggest 'want') and they did AMAZING. The food was all served hot off the grill (salmon with mango salsa, chicken with lemon glaze, veggie kabobs with balsamic glaze) and the portion sizes were great, too. my Daughter recently got engaged. So we found the Crystal Coop listed on line and decided to go check it out. We set up a time to go and see the facility.
