We have been referred to several commercial stagers, but Genesia's chic and sophisticated style really distinguish her as one of the best in the industry. She did a fabulous job staging our 2bd, 2bath condo in the College Area and we couldn't feel more grateful for the experience. She was consummately professional, highly knowledgable, and lovely to collaborate with. Based on our realtor's recommendation, Genesia specifically tailored the interior design with a young millennial couple in mind. The furniture was contemporary and elegant, and her use of the space was both intelligent and efficient. It was a challenging 1400 sq. ft space and floor plan, but Genesia approached it with a cohesive and well-balanced design, adding details and orientation that transformed the space and, more importantly, really facilitated the buyer's ability to see it's potential. After reviewing the photography and the professional design, my wife and I decided to list our place approximately 20% higher than we originally planned. Within 24 hours of the listing, we had multiple offers and secured a buyer committed to full asking price within less than 48 hours. We have many accomplished friends in both real estate and architectural design, and we are pleased to make Genesia part of that affiliation. After moving out of our 1,400 sq ft home, we worked with Genesia to do a vacant staging of the living room, kitchen, dining area, master bedroom, and two bathrooms. Â We were amazed with the results! Â Genesia's very thoughtful design choices and interesting, distinctive furniture pieces created a welcoming, relaxing, and sophisticated atmosphere. Â Many staged homes feature the same boring furniture, accents, and rugs that scream "staged home" -- but that's not at all the case with Genesia's work. Her elevated sense of style made the home feel authentic, which clearly appealed to potential buyers. Â After a packed open house the first weekend, we received nine offers in two days! We were so impressed with how responsive Genesia was from the start. She came and did a walk through our very small home. Immediately, she had an incredible vision for our small space . Her staging made the space feel functional and look great. We know that location sells homes, but in our case, it was location plus Genesia's work :) Due to her fantastic design, we had a high turn out at our first open house and multiple offers in under two days. We recently sold our home in La Mesa that we had been renting out for the last several years. We live in Scottsdale and were out-of-town landlords, and wanted to get top dollar for our small 1,200 sqft home, and so we needed a professional to make the home show as well as possible. We found Genesia and Sicre Designs and were blown away at the results. Not only did the home look amazing once Genesia had it staged, but we had 4 competing offers the first day the home was open for showings. We ended up getting the home sold within 28 days, largely as a result of having multiple offers to rely on when the first accepted offer fell through. I am confident that without Genesia's work, we would not have had this luxury.Genesia's professionalism, eye for space planning, and attractive inventory of furniture and decor made our home look even better than when we used to live in it. I love love love Genesia and her company Sicre Design. She is not only professional, punctual, honest and reasonably price, she is so talented. She assisted me in making my new "open concept" home flow. I recently renovated and gutted my 60's outdated kitchen and opened up walls. It was so beautiful but I had one big problem, the living room and den did not match. She was able to blend all my traditional decorations with my new modern kitchen. Not only did she reuse alot of my old decorations, she assisted me with shopping for new pieces and stayed within my budget. I really can't say enough about Genesia (she is such a great person and a pleasure to work with). I can't wait to recommended her to my sister when she purchases her home next year! More...

There's something about Genesia's personal touch that puts her work head and shoulders above her competitors that I interviewed for this project.
We actually paid a bit more to retain the services of Sicre Designs, but Genesia was on site multiple times, she personally chose and directed placement of every furniture and art piece, and she promptly responded to follow-up questions. Our home was particularly difficult, since it was still owner occupied, yet Genesia worked with us to craft a blended solution for our budget and needs.
We just listed our home and are now actively marketing it, but the consistent theme in first dozen showings was admiration for "our" sense of style. That's a joke! Our sense of "style" was a pool table, 30 year blue-green leather sofa and reclining chair, adn 1970's and 1980's "chic" throughout. Genesia brought our beautiful home up to date in terms of both furnishings and her taste in contemporary art.
In fact, a home identical to our model was listed the same day as ours. It was a "flip", i.e. they had upgraded the kitchen and baths and in fact, matched may of our upgrades. They did not stage that home, and the difference looking at side-by-side room comparisons was vivid. Ours looked like an upscale, $million mansion; the flip looked like a house half the market value.
If you're looking at getting top dollar for your home, staging is an absolute requirement. If you're looking for a staging consultant totally focused on how best to market YOUR home, versus perhaps house of a dozen other clients, speak with Genesia. You wont' be disappointed.

Neither of my wife nor I are very "artistic." Plus, we have no time to shop. To top it off, we're both "control freaks." We made a pact that we would "let go" and just hire a decorator.
We chose Genesia. We were very glad we did! Here's why we like her: 1.) She was budget conscious. She stretched out decorating dollar by requesting discounts, purchasing "seconds," and otherwise getting us more for our budget than we could have done ourselves. 2.) She expanded our taste. Part of the decorating "experience" is allowing the artist to see the house concept in totality. Where we may not have picked an individual piece ourselves, Genesia sees the entire concept and flow. We trusted her instinct and the job came out beautifully.
We recommend Genesia without reservation.
