I heed to try other dishes maybe. I did not like my order at all. I think they misunderstood my order. I ordered the honey tofu and the sauce was separate. I asked for hot sauce on the side. The tofu was just not in a way I liked and the veggies were not the ones common in Thai restaurants in metro NY. And I did not like the Thai salad either. I got chicken pad Thai. I was not impressed. It was so dry and flavorless.  like plain noodles. I did enjoy the cream cheese rolls though! Those were very different and delicious. My friend got the drunken noodles and he enjoyed them. I tried to call after we picked up our order so I could get something else, it was that bad.. but they were already closed. We stopped at this local Thai place while visiting from out of town.  There is a great range of options for any palate and diet, but I was super excited to see Pad Woon Sen on the menu.  The sangria was delightful and tasty, and the jasmine tea was aromatic and came in a beautiful pot.  One friend ordered the Try This, and there was zero spice in the dish - no one asked how spicy we wanted any of the dishes.  I guess that's not a thing here?  Another friend got the Kiss Me, which is a garlic based dish, and it was unexpectedly sweet.  At first, they tried to bring her a chicken dish instead of the tofu she ordered, but they took it back and switched it out.  Service was pretty attentive.  I would give this closer to a four than a three, and I had a better experience than my friends.  Would go back. Really good food here! Some vegetarian friends and I ate here and were really happy with the food and the service. I got the drunken noodles with chicken and loved it! My friends got a curry dish, and the honey garlic tofu, both were delicious. We were very pleased to see so many vegetarian and even vegan options (it's hard to find Thai dishes without fish sauce, but it was no problem here). The vibe of the space is nice too. Love coming for my fix of Thai food-- they seem short-staffed but make an effort to make sure diners are comfortable and don't feel neglected. I am a fan of their drunken noodles (I get spice level 4, which is a tasty amount for someone who enjoys spicy food but would love to try level 5) as well as their chicken satay and mango sticky rice! Siam is a great choice for Thai favorites with a few modern twists. We ordered takeout recently, and were pleased with their nice vegetarian options that went beyond the basics. She went with the honey garlic tofu, which was perfectly slightly sweet, and I had the three flavors tofu, which was flavorful and just spicy enough. The tofu on both was cooked perfectly, chewy but tender, and both came with perfectly steamed jasmine rice. We also ordered a side of their curry puffs, which were akin to a really good samosa stuffed with potatoes, peas, and corn in a flaky crust, served with a light cucumber vinaigrette. Okay, I'll have to start with a contradictory statement to the five stars listed. I did not like the seafood entree with shrimp and muscles - I normally love these things. Oh well, guess I just don't like the Thai version. Who cares!? SO MANY MORE OPTIONS! Uncle Bob. OMFG, just order it. Thank me later. Curry Fried Rice with shrimp or chicken is a must. The masaman is solid. Every salad and appetizer is legit. The Volcano is delicious. The Tom Yum is perfect. I guess Thai isn't en Vogue at the moment, else there would be an hour wait here. However, we get seated promptly and the service is usually spot on. Tipping 25% on any check we have is a must. This is a small business with a big heart and GREAT THAI FOOD! We got Uber Eats delivery from here the other night. I would have given 4 stars for taste of the food and quick delivery; however, I have to give 3 stars for the quantity of food for the amount paid . We typically order an appetizer and 2 entrees for Asian takeout (for 2 people) and always have leftovers for 1 of us to eat lunch the next day. Not at Siam Thai-- we ate every single bite and were still hungry afterwards. Had I not had $20 off using Uber Eats, I would have been VERY disappointed in the amount of food received for the price we paid. It was almost comical when we went back to get "seconds" and realized that there was basically no food left and certainly wouldn't be leftovers. Somehow I always forget about this place, but they consistently have really good Thai food. They've been open for ever for a reason. Check out the Signature Dishes. My go to is the Chicken Jubilee which has crispy chicken with broccoli, chili, onions, peppers, fresh basil. I get fried rice and it is $3 extra, but worth it. I really enjoyed the food and service here. I ordered the green curry because the server suggested it was good. I ordered it as spicy level 5, which was spicy. Next time I will try Thai Spicy. Love love LOVE! I definitely enjoyed dining here! We came on a Friday night, an hour or so before closing. There were quite a few parties dining inside and out, but it wasn't super crowded - we were able to grab a table immediately upon arrival. Okay, as per the owner's suggestion, I requested this to be more authentic. Ordered through Door Dash and made notes for each dish to be more authentic and specifically for the drunken noodles to be less sweet.  It was definitely better - got the pad thai which was good, the drunken noodles were still a little off, but not as sweet as last time, and the basil chicken fried rice was also tasty. Siam Thai was close to where I was traveling in the Decatur area. I thought I'd give it a try. They are known for their Drunken noodles and Pad Thai. I ordered the drunken noodles with chicken, Spicy level 4 and the chicken Pad Thai, level 3 spicy. I would have to say that both were level 1 in terms of spicy. Pretty bland. I had to add sriracha and ranch to them to give them some zest and flavor! I would have to give them a solid 3 because they aren't as good as most places but aren't as bad as some places either!
