그저그런 동네 생선 튀김집 같지만 찐 감자(spicy boiled potatoes) 맛집. 맵삭하니 고소해서 버터발라 눈감고 먹으면 강원도 감자 느낌. 이역만리 타국에서 오랜만에 고향을 또 느껴보네요. 직원은 친절하고 타르타르소스도 굿!

I was pleasantly surprised by this place! I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but you can't really go wrong with fried foods! They have a pretty varied menu so you have a lot of choices. The service is pretty quick and the workers are very cordial and polite. This obviously isn't a super high end fancy restaurant, but for what it is, it's pretty delicious. I got to try the gumbo and created my own platter of fried catfish (worth the extra $1) and crab balls with hush puppies, fries, and cole slaw. I really liked the catfish because it was a good size, but I loved the crab balls because it was just so delicious! I really wish I would have gotten more. It's a pretty big plate so would definitely keep you full. I also liked their fries since it was the nice and crispy. The hush puppies weren't too bad either. I would come back again the next time I'm going to Galveston. I will say that parking is limited, so carpool if you plan on going with a big group! More...

We will be back for sure! This is one of those joints that has a local feel perfect for families and large groups. We made sure to get there early and the dining area filled up fast with lots of happy and well fed customers. We get a ship poboy,  a crawfish poboy,  and the crab balls... sides of sweet tater fries, onion rings and regular fries. Everything was battered and fried to perfection! Great and amazing service, the workers are not only fast but courteous too. I was in a hurry and worried when I saw the long queue but I was served in no time. The food is delicious and comes in large portions, I was already full half way through my meal. Everything is upto perfection. After volunteering, we all decided to grab a bite to eat. This Shrimp N Stuff location was just a few blocks down from where we were and seafood sounded yummy (as it always does). The parking lot is spacious, which is a huge plus and the inside is real chill. Nothing fancy - straight to the point. Our waitress recommended a lot of great options and I went with her recommendation of getting a piece of catfish + fried shrimp. No regrets! So yummy and filling. I thought about getting the seafood platter, but glad I stuck with the fish and shrimp. I tried some of their oyster pieces and crab balls from someone with me and they were yummy as well.I would definitely recommend this place if you're wanting some yummy seafood at a decent price while in Galveston.
