This is where you go for seafood. There are two locations with two very different menus so be sure to check online to see which one meets your needs. Midtown location I'd fried and downtown location is other menu both are excellent. More...

My friend and I traveled to Galveston this weekend for a wedding. Last night we searched the web for a good dinner spot, and were left with basically three options for seafood: helping the owners pay for prime Seawall real estate via inflated prices, boujee menu descriptions and dish plating, or Shrimp N Stuff. We are so glad we went inland and chose to eat at this cute little mom-and-pop shop, which offers both indoor and breezy outdoor seating. It also gives generous portions of dinner platters, with two sides, for a very fair pricepoint. The Fireballs are a must-have if boudin, cheese, and jalapeños are within your palate. Between the two platters we both had, we shared and tried just about everything this restuarant had to offer and have no complaints. The leftovers even microwaved well.Their tartar sauce is the best I've ever had. They use different batters depending on the dish (my oysters significantly varied from the fish and shrimp). Most everything is fried, so this place is not for the health-conscious or those seeking deluxe grilled seafood meals. However, for those who want a very satisfying and tasty fried seafood feast: THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!! More...

First literally stumbled in to this place in the mid 1980's! Been coming back any time we come to Galveston! Best shrimp po-boys ever (first place I ever had one! !) my husband and I split one today and got hush puppies with just an "ever so slight" jalepeño pop! Cost under $12 for a drink and one sandwich! There is beer, wine by the bottle but not glass! Will be back again!! More...

I was pleasantly surprised by this place! I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but you can't really go wrong with fried foods! They have a pretty varied menu so you have a lot of choices. The service is pretty quick and the workers are very cordial and polite. This obviously isn't a super high end fancy restaurant, but for what it is, it's pretty delicious. I got to try the gumbo and created my own platter of fried catfish (worth the extra $1) and crab balls with hush puppies, fries, and cole slaw. I really liked the catfish because it was a good size, but I loved the crab balls because it was just so delicious! I really wish I would have gotten more. It's a pretty big plate so would definitely keep you full. I also liked their fries since it was the nice and crispy. The hush puppies weren't too bad either. I would come back again the next time I'm going to Galveston. I will say that parking is limited, so carpool if you plan on going with a big group! More...

Off the beaten path is this nice little gem. Popular with the locals, which is my favorite. Hubby had the Seafood Platter and I had a two combo with Catfish and Fried Shrimp. Jalapeno Hush puppies, Fries and slaw. It was too much food, but it was very good food. More...

We will be back for sure! This is one of those joints that has a local feel perfect for families and large groups. We made sure to get there early and the dining area filled up fast with lots of happy and well fed customers. We get a ship poboy, a crawfish poboy, and the crab balls... sides of sweet tater fries, onion rings and regular fries. Everything was battered and fried to perfection! See ya'll soon at shrimp 'n stuff! More...

After volunteering, we all decided to grab a bite to eat. This Shrimp N Stuff location was just a few blocks down from where we were and seafood sounded yummy (as it always does). The parking lot is spacious, which is a huge plus and the inside is real chill. Nothing fancy - straight to the point. Our waitress recommended a lot of great options and I went with her recommendation of getting a piece of catfish + fried shrimp. No regrets! So yummy and filling. I thought about getting the seafood platter, but glad I stuck with the fish and shrimp. I tried some of their oyster pieces and crab balls from someone with me and they were yummy as well.I would definitely recommend this place if you're wanting some yummy seafood at a decent price while in Galveston.
