I just wanted to write a review because I’m extremely grateful for shoreside catering! I just got married August 31st and wanted to share our experience! Amanda and her team were just amazing! They were accommodating during the whole process and made my husband and I feel at ease! The food was delicious from our tasting to our wedding! We had a late night snack as well which everyone absolutely loved! My husband and I will be going to their restaurant soon so we can enjoy their food and hospitality! Amanda & Ej did a wonderful job catering my daughters 1st birthday party at the zoo. They came early set everything up. The chicken pot pie was to die for. We also had the hot turkey garlic mashed potatoes and mac n cheese that everyone raved about. They even gave us an extra bowl of soup that we enjoyed with the family the next day. The wings were out of this world. They provided us with everything we needed all we had to do was show up. Super delicious food and awesome people. We had a small wedding at a beach house rental in Avalon, NJ. The homeowner required that we use Shore Side Catering for the reception, but we're glad he did! Amanda spent seven months answering all our questions and was patient with our indecisiveness on the final menu. Shore Side Catering was able to accommodate our guests with allergies with a peanut-free menu and gluten-free options. We were a little nervous come wedding day as we hadn't tasted the food prior, but everything was delicious and our guests were pleased! If you need a vegetarian dish I highly recommend the pesto tortellini -- it was sooo good! We also hired bartenders and they did a great job as well. We had the pleasure of having Shore Side cater our wedding a few weeks ago. Working with Amanda was a dream from start to finish. While planning my wedding and the catering services, she was always easy to get ahold of, quickly got back to me and was so pleasant to work with. The food was fantastic, and they customized our menu to work perfectly with so much flexibility for us and our 180+ guests and vendors. The staff was sure to bring my husband and I food all night because they knew we wouldn’t have gotten a chance to eat otherwise (typical bride and groom behavior) and it was so appreciated! Everything went so smoothly and they took care of us so well! Will absolutely recommend them to anyone and will be happy to use their services again in the future. I recently used Shore Side Catering for a wedding rehearsal dinner at a rental house in Cape May. It was a BBQ-themed dinner. The food was excellent, and the servers provided extraordinary service. Amanda even stopped by during the event to make sure we were satisfied with everything. Everyone in attendance expressed their pleasure with the food and the service. Amanda and her team are awesome! We had our outdoor wedding in our Cape May Point rental house was well planned until a unnamed catering company was not responding to us after three in person meetings. We contacted Shore Side Catering two weeks before our wedding. We met with Amanda and she was very professional and made some excellent suggestions. Her team showed up on time and set up very quickly. At the end of our event they did an excellent job of cleaning up. The buffets they set up was delicious and plentiful. Amanda and EJ did a great job catering our large family trip to Cape May. The food was delicious and abundant. We've used private chef/catering services on many family trips and this was one of our best experiences. Amanda was responsive to our calls and emails, and EJ prepared wonderful meals that we all enjoyed. Recently used Shore Side Catering for a fundraising event for the Cape May VFW Auxiliary. Amanda was a doll to work with and was always available when I had any questions or concerns. Amanda and Shore Side Catering went beyond expectations at my wedding last weekend in Cape May. Throughout the planning process, Amanda was constantly available and was an absolute pleasure to work with during a stressful time. She hosted my 35 person wedding in a Cape May Victorian beach home with passed hors d'oeuvres and a buffet dinner. Every single guest raved about the food and the personable and professional staff. The beef tenderloin with the demi glaze and the salmon with crab imperial were huge hits.In addition to providing amazing food and service, Amanda and her team went above and beyond by washing dishes, clearing plates, and keeping the whole day running. My husband and I and our families were completely thrilled how the food turned out and what an enormous help Shore Side was on a day where everyone was pitching in. Amanda and crew did a great job for my sons rehearsal dinner at the Beach Club of Cape May the last weekend in June. We had 60 people for a sit down dinner and another 100 arrived for an after party. Shoreside Catering did a 17 person Bachelorette Dinner for my daughter in May and I cannot recommend them highly enough. We live in the Washington DC area, the girls were staying in a huge house in Cape May and everything was done over the phone. Asboutely everything was done beautifully from setting the table to the passed hors'doeurves to the seated dinner with courses, pouring the wine at dinner, serving dessert - everything! Not to mention that the girls LOVED the food. We offered a choice of entrees - a salmon with shrimp and champagne sauce and a stuffed chicken and girls loved both. They also raved about the passed appetizers - a bruchetta and a caprese sticks. Fianlly, I would also like to mention that Amanda, the co-owner got back to me right away all the time. As you can imagine having never met her and doing it all over the phone and I would not be there = lots of calls. I would give them a 10 out of 10 which I can't recall even having done before.
