Shondiz is a hidden gem in the Denver Tech Center. While you may not even notice it in the shopping center anchored by MicroCenter, you won't want to pass it by. The food is always made fresh and is very tasty. The kabobs are one of a kind. the saffron rice is a great complement to the meat. if you've never experienced Persian food I would highly recommend trying this place. You won't be disappointed! Don't forget to top off your meal with the delicious and succulent Baklava! More...

If you get great service and leave a tip, just be wary that the owner pockets all of it. And "forgets" to pay his employees. And if you're a woman considering working here, the owner insists you get permission from your husband first. More...

Great food! Ordered the must-o-musir and the Royal Combo. It was all very delicious! The joojeh kebab was juicy and tender too. Will definitely come back.

Amazing food. My mother had been here before and brought us because she loved it so much. We ate entirely vegetarian food. We had babaganoush, the other smoky eggplant dip, the bean stew, veggie kabobs, and a salad. The pita bread was fresh out of the oven, and everything was incredibly tasty. Would come here again. Came here for a nice meal before a movie with my husband as we were craving something in the "Greek" genre for food. I haven't had real Persian food since a mom and pop place in San Diego, CA. This place was so good. We had the lunch Joojeh (White skewer chicken) and started with the baba ghanoush. Everything was superb. The baba ghanoush was silky and smokey. The tomatoes that came with our meal were charred perfectly. I wish there was more because the portion of rice is huge and the tomato is fantastic with the rice. I also had the Persian lemonade -sparkling. I highly recommend that, fresh and lemony. We will be back. More...

Tried the combo beef and chicken. Beef was overly salty, and chicken was dry dry dry. The rice was very good, which is fortunate since it made up like 95% of the meal. The whole dish needed some kind of sauce to add moisture...maybe that's not a Persian thing, I don't know. The baklava was good, but also needed a little more moisture. Overall, not good enough for me to give it another try. More...

I wasn't too impressed. The staff were friendly, but I came here for the food. I ordered a chicken kabob bowl. It was 80% rice. The chicken was ok, but not very flavorful. Thank goodness for the roasted tomatoes. They did add some flavor. It would have been nice if they included more yellow rice. It seemed only sprinkled on top of the white rice to make the color pop, purely aesthetic. Also would have been nice if a sauce was included to add more flavor. For $15 they could do better. I will not be back. More...

Excellent food. The baba ganoush was perfectly smoky served with soft, warm pita. The spicy falafel wrap is probably the best wrap I've ever had. The seasonings were spot on and layered so many flavors. The chicken and ground beef kabob with rice were perfectly seasoned and delicious. Friendly staff, as well. This is about a 45 minute drive for us, but we will definitely go back. More...

I was super excited to try this place but I was really disappointed paying $16 for a plate full of rice and the 5 pieces of chicken were so dry.

Absolutely wonderful food. Great atmosphere and really simple to order. You can tell these folks put a lot of effort into this restaurant and the food reflects that. The chicken is incredible, spicy has just enough spice, enough to feel it but not so spicy that it stops being enjoyable. They have a house lemonade that's made with rose water that I could not get enough of. Definitely check this place out; if you're not familiar with Persian food, it's very similar to Mediterranean/Greek cuisine; if like that you'll love Shondiz. More...

In a tucked away, unexpected shopping strip. Had the best authentic Persian food in all of Denver! Mohammad was gracious and generous and we tried almost everything on the menu - would recommend the kabob koobideh, the saffron rice, the roasted tomatoes! Honestly everything was excellent and the tea was to die for. Highly recommend for an excellent meal. More...

This fantastic spot is located in an unassuming shopping strip - we didn't expect it, but found the best Persian food i have had in a long time! The owner came out to say hi, took great care to make sure we were happy. Excellent fare for the cost, will be going back for sure. More...

My rating is based on an overall rating of the restaurant. I got the chicken shawarma wrap; the food was made fast, and it tasted great. However, I don't think it's a $14 wrap, which is much more inflated than the original menu I saw before making my trek to the restaurant. I have updated the photos of the menu. Like I said, it was good, but you're going to be paying $14 for the wrap alone. If the price were less than $10, then I would definitely give it a five star rating for value. Also, if you are having trouble finding the place because of directions and/or pinpoint on Yelp map, the restaurant is located between Dollar Tree and CIGARS. More...
