My husband and I just left the most relaxing, enjoyable, delicious dinner at Grant’s tonight. Everything about tonight was perfect for a relaxing Saturday night. Live jazz, great company, warm welcoming ambiance. Grant, himself, is so welcoming and treats his guests like family. It’s exactly everything I enjoy about a night out. The restaurant’s atmosphere takes you back in time, with antique lighting sconces that cast a warm glow, and elegant walls. I love that Longview offers a place like this and hope it stays put for a very long time. Also, we had the mesquite salmon dinner. The salmon was very fresh and cooked perfectly. I have recommended Grant’s to several friends. The food is always great. Today though they went above and beyond for me. I took a friend to lunch today. I haven’t seen her for awhile and in this past year she lost her husband. The staff left us to visit. We were in the booth for 4 hours. And they kept our water glasses full and left us to ourselves. No dirty looks. Just kind permission to stay when we were concerned we were overstaying our visit. They were great. Thank you. ❤️ More...

Stopped by at 7:30 for an after dinner cocktail. Their was no room at the bar. There were plenty of chairs on the patio and the kid that was hostessing wouldn’t seat us. Had to be on the waiting list with all of the people who were waiting for dinner!!! We live a few blocks away. Spend a lot of money there. Done. More...

I have to give huge praise to Grant and our server, Franklin who made our experience great! When another local restaurant cancelled our reservation for my mom’s 70th birthday with only 3 days notice, Grant was extremely accommodating to our group of 12. The food was bland no flavor. I had the surf and turf wrap and it was horrible, no sauce, no spices. The shrimp tasted like it was frozen. The crab melt was from frozen crab it tasted old. When we sent it back the re-fire was over an hour long. Kyle our server was amazing and did his best to fix the problem. He was the best part of our meal there. The music was great thanks to Dan Digman. The lemon drops were good. I love Ambience of the place. Went there for my 69th birthday with my wife and son, we started with the crab fondue, excellent 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟lots of crab, then my wife and I had Steak Diane absolutely fantastic 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 but my son had shrimp scampi and was a little disappointed 🌟🌟🌟. The biggest thing that upset us the most was it is no longer a hotel they are apartments and we ate outside by the steps and the residents keep coming out and smoking cigarettes and our dinner with drinks and dessert was over $250 plus tip, I REALLY DON’T LIKE CIGARETTE SMOKE eating a nice dinner, that in it self will not stop us from going back but we will think twice about eating out side. Our waitress was very nice and service was OK (she forgot to take our order so we sat there for about 15 or 20 minutes) in her defense she was very busy and very nice so I still tipped her 25%. OVERALL I WOULD GIVE GRANTS 🌟🌟🌟🌟 and will eat there again! More...
