What inspired you to start your own business?
I became certified as a life coach because I want to support people who feel called to live a meaningful life. I work in the areas of self-esteem and empowerment; intimacy and sexuality; work and purpose; creativity and productivity; spirituality and health.

Sherisse is a certified transformative life coach through Leadership That Works and a certified embodiment yoga teacher through Yoga Center Amherst. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Hunter College, City University of New York and a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities & Cultural Studies from Hampshire College. In addition, she has studied theater and women’s studies and taken courses in Buddhist meditation, Sanskrit, Reiki, Integrative Nutrition, and Thai Yoga Massage. She has held arts residencies at the National Book Foundation, Fine Arts Work Center, and the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council. She has performed and curated shows at The New School, Hampshire College, Lincoln Center and the Yale School of Art. She has taught artmaking at The I Have a Dream Foundation, writing at Hunter College, and yoga at Yale University.
