I didnt stay here, it was for a Mary Kay workshop and guest event. The many hours there were spent in comfortable seating in a well set up room. You could see the speaker and hear them easily. Also there was a bar and restaurant right downstairs so for someone like me who loves to run a little late I could grab food between events. It was a little pricey but good service. The woman at the bar almost yelled and said come in here for a shorter wait! Very nice of her. Overall a nice atmosphere and I would say above average for a hotel. More...

We've been staying at this hotel for nearly 10 years. The bar manager recognizes us and remembers our wine selections. Sadly for us she is retiring, but it speaks to the quality of the hotel. Still under some renovation, the room upgrades in the renovation are great. Electrical outlets on both sides of the bed. Better furniture and bathroom allows 2 people to get ready. I stay here each time I'm in Madison for work!  The remodel is looking great and always great service here.  My favorite part a4e the beds here as they are one of my favorite beds!  I travel about 90 nights a year and this hire does a great job!  Rooms are good size and always clean!  I've stayed here about a dozen times and never once had an issue!  Definitely a recommended place! We stayed here for a business training with End Abuse Wisconsin. Overall it was one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in! And I will recommend it to others. The construction wasn't too inconvenient, other than the air being dusty; because my co-worker's allergies flared up pretty bad and one morning I blew my nose and there was dust in the kleenex. Also, the phone in our room didn't work, and it was odd that there wasn't a microwave in the room. The food that was served for lunch during our training was phenomenal and all the hotel staff was kind and friendly. The chef even came in and talked with us after we were finished eating and asked us if we enjoyed our meal. The fitness center was a nice bonus with good equipment; though it was very crowded in the mornings so I had to work out in the evening. More...

As of November 2019 the rooms have been totally overhauled and are very contemporary in finish. The lobby and common areas are still being completed and should be by early 2020. They offer a free shuttle to downtown and the airport. There is no charge to park at the hotel. More...

The hotel and staff were awesome. The restaurant food and staff not always so. Not enough choices in the menu and i never had my order right without having to send it back or ask for it to be cooked more. The staff never talked loud enough and seemed like they didn’t want to be there. We always had to wait to be seated and there was hardly anyone there. Seemed like place was remodeled comfortable beds plenty of pillows. Fairly close to everything in Madison. We crashed early and was quite for a night before a badger game. Will stay again if we get a chance
