Q&As

Seeing real change in people. I love when clients gain a newfound clarity into the source of and solutions to their problems and together we manifest the courage to create lasting change.

I have been an entrepreneur most of my life, from running a successful fitness studio and providing health and wellness coaching. Working in a behavioral health hospital and most recently in a mental health clinic, I've seen that the need for wellness based counseling from a practitioner with integrated life wisdom is at an all time high. Offering therapeutic counseling for individuals and couples helps me serve more people, fulfilling my life's mission to consistently be the light in dark places.

My years of coaching experience, my ability to form effective therapeutic relationships, and my utilization of evidence-based psychological theory give you the confidence that if you truly desire change, together we will create a personal roadmap for your success.

Yes, my services can be provided via online video or phone.

Services

Fear, anxiety, panic, and stress can make it feel like you can't breathe and that both your chest and the world is caving in. Together we will work to define and resolve the sources of your stress, improve the underlying thoughts and beliefs through cognitive behavioral techniques, and build faith and confidence that leads to lasting peace.

Depression often manifests in lack of motivation, hopelessness, helpless, and a nagging feeling of nothingness that won't release it's grip. As a therapeutic team, we will strengthen your identity, improve sense of self-worth, identify the meaning and purpose in your life, and rekindle a passion for living.

Life can leave you behind when you don't understand your value, worth, and dignity. Together we will define and strengthen your identity, explore the unique value you bring into the world, and navigate a path toward respect and success.

Our habits are what we do over and over, often unconsciously, that produce not only the results of our lives, but also ultimately who we become. Identity emerges out of habits and habits are how we embody our identity. Using motivational interviewing, we will work through the transtheoretical stages of change and reformulate the habit loop from bad habits to healthy habits. Negative habits include, but aren't limited to, substance use, technology/social media overuse, spending money, pornography, and gambling.

Renowned psychologist Alfred Adler stated that all problems originate as relationship problems and that humans grow to understand themselves only in the context of relationships. Using an Adlerian framework, we will work to strengthen family or love relationships by improving communication, conflict resolution, setting appropriate boundaries, building trust, and offering forgiveness.

Facing the next chapter in life with a lack of clarity or uncertainty can lead to immobilizing fear. Following human development theory and the wisdom of experience, we will work to redefine your life roles, as necessary, expand your identity, and move with courage toward a self-determined future.
