Just finished my 6 week training course with Chris. My main concern was loose leash walking for my very energetic 2 1/2 year old black lab Abby. Chris concentrated on just this one task as she is quite well behaved and trained otherwise. We focused on heeling and training her to "leave it" when she sees squirrels, rabbits, people or any other distractions during our daily walks. Before the training she would pull me down the sidewalk and pretty much controlled the walk. After finishing classes Abby is doing much better at staying in a heel and I have learned to watch ahead for anything that might cause her to start lunging before it happens. I will continue to work with Abby daily and hope to do another session with Chris in the future for a refresher and more advanced training. I highly recommend working with Chris and SDK9C! Chris is a phenomenal trainer who has a keen knowledge of dogs from all backgrounds. In just 3 weeks working with Chris I learned so much about how to properly handle my dog in multiple settings, how to strengthen my bond with my dog, and how to continue training him in the future.
Chris always knew how to adapt and change our sessions based on how I was handling the training, and my pup as well.
