What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
There is really no secret in taking a great photograph. For me it's about the story that is conveyed when capturing a great image that resonates when someone looks at it. Of course there is proper lighting and direction and composition of which I am a stickler for.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What is being photographed? How big is the job? What is your budget? Do you want location or studio?
What do you love most about your job?
I love what I do. There is a saying " If you love what you do? You never have to work a day in your life."
What inspired you to start your own business?
I love photography and everyone that saw my images said I should start my own photography business. They were right. I was also a staff photographer for the San Francisco 49ers back in the late 80's.

I am very passionate about my work. I strive fore the best no mater what I am photographing. I listen to my clients. I have been published in Cosmopolitan, Vogue, FHM, Playboy, Sports Illustrated, Maxim, Seven, etc.. I have shot for many high end designers Ed Hardy, Affliction, Sherrie Hill, Adore, Vivian Westwood, David Yurman, Discover card, Christian Audigier, Belldini etc.. I also teach photography workshops to other photographers and shoot a lot of product photography as well. I have a lot of experience.
