I met Sharon at a pet photo fundraiser about a week ago where i brought my newly diagnosed terminally ill dog to get his pictures taken for the last time. Waiting in line i knew this was going to be hard for me, and i knew it was going to take everything i had to hold it together. We went into the room and i asked her if she could take his picture twice (once with the Easter bunny since this was an Easter fundraiser, and once without so we could have one to cherish with a beautiful background). Not only was she more than willing to do this, she spent so much time with him taking pictures we could have forever and being ever so patient with a very restless dog who did not want to sit still for anything. She even offered to come to our home and take pictures of him (for free!), because she knew how much our hearts were breaking. Not only is Sharon an amazing photographer, but she is truly an amazing person with the biggest heart. If you are searching for a photographer for any occasion, please reach out to her. I walked in to her photography room as a complete stranger, and thanks to her kindness and patience, i will have pictures of my dog that i can cherish forever. Sharon has photographed my family, and most recently photographed my son for his first birthday, as well as photographed his first birthday extravaganza. Words can not express how truly priceless the images she captured are, and how beautifully and lovingly done her work is. In our first experience working with her, Sharon photographed my husband and I with our 3 month old son, and also our extended families. She worked with a large group of people- 11 in all- and worked so quickly and efficiently that our 7 year old nephew and our tiny son stayed well out of meltdown zone and all the while captured the most beautiful shots. She truly is a people person and is so fun and easy to work with that we forgot our in-front-of-camera jitters and could just be ourselves. When she photographed my nearly one year old son for his first birthday, she helped me to set up the cake smash shoot of my wildest Pinterest dreams, helping me to achieve the desired look. Sharon took her time getting so many beautiful shots, but still managed to keep him fuss-free and happy throughout. Every time I see a picture from this shoot, I am immediately transported back to that fun day in her studio letting my son destroy a cake, and am floored by the level of detail she was able to capture- his every facial expression, his tiny cake smeared hands, and his little bare toes. Finally, Sharon photographed his first birthday party. While I was rushing around to host my guests and spending time with my son, I didn’t have my phone in hand even once to snap a picture, because she had it covered. I was able just to enjoy the party and be present in the moment, knowing that she captured every decoration detail, every precious moment, and took beautiful candids of our family and guests paying tribute to our little guy. That day, she wasn’t a photographer in the way, she was seamlessly circulating the room and injecting her friendly personality into her work, making us all feel that she is an old friend rather than just a photographer. Sharon’s talent, her absolutely sparkling personality, and her commitment to getting the perfect shot makes her the perfect photographer, and my go-to for any event or lifestyle photography.
